Fantasy Tip: Goodwin's status for Week 8 is uncertain at this point, so owners will need to monitor his situation during the week. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues if he plays because of his big-play potential. Justin Hunter would receive a bigger role if Goodwin is ruled out and could be an option in some fantasy leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Rex Ryan's gamble didn't pay off yesterday. His star running back is looking like he'll be limited again in a crucial matchup with the New England Patriots. If McCoy is indeed limited or unable to play, then Mike Gillislee and Reggie Bush would see more work like they did in Week 7. Gillislee would be the better option, but neither is reliable enough to start, especially after a disappointing outing from Gillislee. McCoy is avoidable too if his workload is anything like it was yesterday.

Fantasy Tip: Goodwin had a 4-93-1 line on the game and has become a player to target on waivers if he avoided serious injury. He'd be a flex option in Week 8 if he's healthy enough to suit up against the New England Patriots.

Fantasy Tip: Clay is a borderline low-end TE1 in fantasy leagues of 14 or more teams. He should see more looks with the wide receiver corps banged up.

Fantasy Tip: Goodwin is a speed burner, and sort of the last man standing with a ton of injuries at the receiver position in Buffalo. He is worth a look as a WR3 in all fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. The Bills host the Patriots in Week 8.

Buffalo Bills RB Reggie Bush ran just once for one yard in the Week 7 game against the Miami Dolphins, that carry was good for a touchdown. He also had one catch for 13 yards and a catch for a two-point conversion.
Fantasy Tip: Bush might see a larger role in the offense going forward if LeSean McCoy is forced to miss time after aggravating his hamstring injury. Bush might be worth a look in deeper fantasy formats that reward points per reception (PPR).

Buffalo Bills QB Tyrod Taylor completed 14 of his 28 pass attempts for 221 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the Week 7 game against the Miami Dolphins. He also ran seven times for a team-high 35 yards and a touchdown.
Fantasy Tip: Taylor is a solid dual-threat option and worth a look as a low-end QB1 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams in most formats. The Bills host the Patriots in Week 8.

Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) said Sunday, Oct. 23, that he felt "a little pain in his injured left hamstring in the Week 7 game against the Miami Dolphins while running a pass route in the third quarter. He and the team decided to sit him for the remainder of the game. "I just tried to take off," he said. "The smartest thing to do (was to sit), instead of re-injuring anything or making it worse. I kind of felt it was a warning."
Fantasy Tip: Shady was not himself, running eight times for just 11 yards and he did not have a catch. If Shady is forced to miss time it would be Mike Gillislee and Reggie Bush picking up the slack.

Fantasy Tip: McCoy was not effective in his limited snaps during the game and could miss time if he aggravated the injury during the game. Owners will need to look for an update on his status in the next day or two.

Fantasy Tip: McCoy is unlikely to be able to shoulder his normal workload this week but should have a limited presence in the Buffalo offense. He's worth considering as a RB2 or flex option in certain leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Clay had been listed as questionable on the most recent edition of the injury report and was limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 20, and Friday, Oct. 21. He should be viewed as a low-end TE1 in most fantasy formats, although he could see more targets than normal because WRs Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods won't play.
