Updating a previous report, Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) is expected to be active in Week 7 against the Miami Dolphins, though he could be limited in how much he plays. A source set the range at 25-35 snaps, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Fantasy Tip: That gives a little more clarity on McCoy's situation, and it's important to read that as snaps and not touches. Clearly, Shady's role will be limited, which erodes his value and brings plenty of risk to the table. If you can plug a steadier play into one of your RB slots, that would be the prudent move.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will still need to check the inactive list to see if McCoy will be in uniform against the Miami Dolphins. He will be a risky option because of the hamstring injury but could be at least a flex option if he receives touches during the game.

Fantasy Tip: McCoy likely will be game-time decision, so owners will need to check the inactive list to see if he will play. McCoy may be limited if he is active but would still be a starting option for owners. Mike Gillislee probably would start if McCoy is ruled out and would be an attractive flex option.

Fantasy Tip: McCoy likely will be a game-time decision, so owners will need to look at the inactive list before they decided on their starting lineups. He may be limited if he is active for the game, which makes him a risky option for owners. Mike Gillislee would be a solid flex option if McCoy is ruled out.

Fantasy Tip: Clay has been on the injury list over the last few weeks but has been able to play. He could be more involved in the passing game with Robert Woods listed as doubtful. Clay can be considered a low-end No. 1 tight end in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Owners can check the inactive list to see if Woods is able to play, but he probably would be limited if he is active. Owners in all leagues should look for other options to use. Justin Hunter may receive a few more targets this week and could be a flex option in deeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: McCoy got a limited practice in Friday after suffering the injury on Wednesday and has officially been ruled questionable, but the probability is high he would be limited if he does play. For now, Mike Gillislee is set to receive the bulk of the carries and makes for a fine RB2 against Miami second-worst rush defense.

Fantasy Tip: Fridays are usually walkthroughs, and it's tough to tell how healthy his hamstring is. There have been multiple reports that he's unlikely to play this week. Even if he goes, you'd have to believe he'd be on some sort of restriction. Mike Gillislee has a 17-117-2 line on the season, and the matchup against the Miami Dolphins is a good one. McCoy is probably going to be a game-time decision, and he's a flex option for now. Gillislee is a flex candidate, but if McCoy is limited, he obviously has upside.

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy (hamstring) will be considered a game-time decision for the team's Week 7 game Sunday, Oct. 23, according to a person with direct knowledge of the star running back's hamstring injury. Head coach Rex Ryan is "hopeful" that McCoy can play.
Fantasy Tip: Well, luckily, it's one of the early-afternoon games on the slate, so owners will have a chance to get him out of the lineup in case he doesn't suit up. This would be very unfortunate if McCoy has to miss any time, as he's second in the NFL right now with 587 rushing yards, while also scoring seven touchdowns, but it appears it wouldn't be a surprise if he were to miss a week or two at this point. If McCoy can't go this week, Mike Gillislee is lined up to start and would be worth deploying in all formats for his strong potential.

Fantasy Tip: Clay actually isn't too shabby of a start this week, assuming he's able to go. Sammy Watkins is already out, LeSean McCoy won't be playing and Robert Woods looks pretty iffy. Clay is a fringe TE1 as he should see plenty of targets.
