Buffalo Bills WR Sammy Watkins (hip) is able to work out in some capacity during the team's offseason program, although head coach Rex Ryan indicated Wednesday, April 15, that he doesn't expect Watkins to do many football-related activities training camp. "My understanding is Sammy is doing really well," Ryan said. "We're not going to see him out there until training camp. But he should be full go when we get to training camp."
Fantasy Tip: Watkins sounds to be progressing nicely from an offseason procedure on his hip. Thatís great news for fantasy owners in dynasty leagues. Watkins will be a low-end WR2 or solid WR3 or flex play once the season comes around, perhaps more if the Buffalo quarterback position play improves dramatically.

Buffalo Bills QB Matt Cassel believes the talent in Buffalo exceeds that of the 2010 Kansas City Chiefs squad he was a part of. "We've got all the pieces to the puzzle here to be a successful football team… Our offense has the best skill players in all the league in my opinion."
Fantasy Tip: Cassel can think what he wants, but the Bills certainly don't have the best quarterback corps in the league, which will hinder the rest of the offense to an extent; whether Cassel or EJ Manuel wins the starting quarterback job, neither are worthy of starter consideration for fantasy teams.

Fantasy Tip: The Bills possess one of the least exciting quarterback groups in all the NFL. Manuel and Cassel are the favorite heading into the offseaon. Whoever wins the starting job will have minimal fantasy value, however.

Buffalo Bills WR Robert Woods could see a notable drop in targets in 2015 after the additions of RB LeSean McCoy, WR Percy Harvin and TE Charles Clay. Woods was targeted 104 times in 2014 and had 699 yards. However, Woods thinks he'll still have plenty of opportunities to make an impact in the passing game. He'll be playing for new offensive coordinator Greg Roman, and Woods already believes Roman's scheme will create more chances for the offense to make big plays.
Fantasy Tip: Woods caught 65 passes and had five touchdowns in 2014 in his sophomore season. With the new additions to Buffalo and Rex Ryan's reputation as a ground-and-pound coach, it seems inevitable that Woods will see his production drop in his third full year. Consider Woods strictly for receiver depth in deeper leagues in 2015.

Buffalo Bills DT Marcell Dareus reached a plea agreement to have misdemeanor charges dropped for crashing his car into a tree near a Buffalo intersection last year. He pleaded guilty to failure to keep right and imprudent speed Tuesday, April 7. Dareus was given the maximum fine of $150 for each violation. The NFL is expected to review his plea agreement, and they could still punish him with a fine, suspension or both.

Fantasy Tip: Carpenter ranked second in the NFL in field goals made this past season and should be an option in one of the later rounds of drafts next season.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson should have a solid role in the offense even though the team added LeSean McCoy this offseason. Jackson could be an option in later rounds of drafts as a handcuff to McCoy or a depth player at running back.
