Fantasy Tip: Watkins underwent a second operation on his foot after the season and probably will not do much until training camp begins. He will be the Bills' No. 1 receiver in 2017 and probably should be considered a No. 3 option for fantasy owners because of his injury history.

Impending free-agent CB Stephon Gilmore (Bills) is not a candidate for the franchise tag in large part due to how much it would handicap the Buffalo Bills' ability to sign free agents, according to the Buffalo News. The Bills are projected to have roughly $21 million in salary-cap space, and the franchise tag for a cornerback this season will cost about $15 million.

Buffalo Bills RB LeSean McCoy sent out a tweet Sunday, Feb. 26, which said, "Buffalo was so special." However, a source with knowledge of the situation said that the tweet referred to an autograph signing and not McCoy's future with the team.
Fantasy Tip: McCoy is coming off an excellent all-around season, and he is a RB1 candidate heading into 2017.

Fantasy Tip: If Tyrod Taylor returns as Buffalo's starting quarterback next season, the chances of Woods remaining with the team are better. Regardless of where he lands, Woods is expected to be used as a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver and should be viewed as a WR4 in most fantasy formats.

Fantasy Tip: Woods could sign elsewhere in the offseason, but he is likely to be a No. 2 or No. 3 receiver wherever he ends up. Heading into 2017, he projects as a WR4 for fantasy purposes.

Fantasy Tip: Pryor has shown a willingness to re-sign with the Browns after a 77-1,007-4 season. Pryor is a low-end WR3 but would have a higher ceiling with an established quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: Taylor is unlikely to see that bonus and probably won't remain with the club. He has been a decent dual threat at the position, but he'll have to land in the right situation. Even then, he's a high-end QB2 in fantasy.

Fantasy Tip: Taylor will have suitors should he hit the market and is not open to a contract restructure, so Buffalo is either going to swallow hard on committing $30.75 million to him over the next two years or move on without him. A return seems the most likely outcome because the Bills know what they have in Taylor and new offensive coordinator Rick Dennison has worked with him before. Even in a slightly more wide-open offense than what he's had in his first two years with Buffalo, Taylor could flirt with low-end QB1 status.

Buffalo Bills impending free-agent WR Brandon Tate ranked fifth in punt return average and seventh in kickoff return average in 2016, and beat writer Jay Skurski believes Buffalo will try to bring back Tate on a one-year contract.
