Ravens | Kamar Aiken not a projected starter

Thu, 21 Jul 2016 16:07:18 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WRs Steve Smith and Mike Wallace are projected as the two starting wide receivers for Baltimore, according to's Jamison Hensley.

Fantasy Tip: Aiken should still see a decent amount of targets even with Smith, Wallace and Breshad Perriman in the mix. Even with the large number of mouths to feed, Aiken is still a WR4 consideration heading into 2016.

Ravens | Joe Flacco looks like himself

Tue, 19 Jul 2016 12:20:13 -0700

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (knee) is already throwing like his regular, healthy self, according to WR Kamar Aiken. Aiken said Flacco looked the same as he always has when the caught passes from him for the first time this offseason. "He looks 100% to me," Aiken said. Aiken added that Flacco didn't have any "limp or lags" and that he was surprised Flacco looked as good as he did. "I'm just happy to get him back."

Fantasy Tip: This is certainly good news for Flacco and the Ravens offense heading into training camp. Flacco probably still isn't at maximum health, but it looks like he can get there by the start of the regular season. Even with good health, though, Flacco is comfortably a backup fantasy quarterback.

Ravens | Joe Flacco will be ready for first day

Mon, 18 Jul 2016 09:37:28 -0700

Baltimore Ravens QB Joe Flacco (knee) said he plans to be practicing on the first day of training camp Thursday, July 28.

Fantasy Tip: Flacco has some better prospects at receiver this year if Steve Smith and Breshad Perriman prove healthy, but the gunslinger has always been a better real life QB than fantasy one. Take him as a serviceable backup and not as a QB1.

Ravens | Justin Tucker receives long-term deal

Fri, 15 Jul 2016 12:35:29 -0700

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker agreed to a four-year deal with the Ravens Friday, July 15, worth $16.8 million, according to a source. The deal includes $10.8 million in guaranteed money.

Fantasy Tip: Tucker has been one of the better kickers in the NFL over the past few years. The Ravens may have seen a dip in their production on offense, but Tucker could still be a decent option in most fantasy leagues.

Ravens | Justin Tucker gives Ravens ultimatum

Thu, 14 Jul 2016 16:35:38 -0700

Baltimore Ravens K Justin Tucker has vowed not to re-sign with the team after this season if the two sides cannot come to an agreement on a long-term deal before the Friday, July 15 deadline, according to his agent Rob Roche. The franchise tag for kickers this season is $4.5 million, which is what Tucker would be earning if he can't secure his desired long-term contract prior to Friday afternoon.

Fantasy Tip: Tucker has a real gripe here. Not only has he been one of the most consistent kickers in fantasy over the past few seasons, he's actually the second-most accurate kicker in NFL history. By comparison, Baltimore has been offering him less money than what Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby makes. Regardless of where he plays, Tucker is still one of the upper echelon legs to lean on in any fantasy league.

Ravens | Kenneth Dixon has quick feet

Wed, 13 Jul 2016 06:28:45 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Kenneth Dixon may have the quickest feet of the team's running backs, and he's dynamic running and catching the football.

Fantasy Tip: Dixon will likely take a backseat to Justin Forsett and Javorius Allen in the pecking order, but he has appeal in dynasty formats. He might not have a lot of fantasy value entering the season unless something happens to Forsett or Allen. See how things shake out in training camp.

Ravens | Justin Forsett the lead back

Tue, 12 Jul 2016 14:33:36 -0700

Baltimore Ravens RB Justin Forsett is still the "clear lead dog" in the Ravens' backfield, according to Ryan Mink of The starting job is Forsett's to lose, with RBs Javorius Allen, Kenneth Dixon, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Terrance West and Trent Richardson lurking behind him.

Fantasy Tip: Baltimore is deep at running back, but Forsett is a proven success and should be the lead back as long as he's healthy. Allen and Dixon are probably the most likely to compete for playing time, and both are worth late-round picks in traditional fantasy leagues. Forsett has more value in PPR leagues and should be viewed as an RB3 in such formats.

Ravens | Justin Turner may want top kicker deal

Fri, 08 Jul 2016 13:10:33 -0700

Baltimore Ravens PK Justin Tucker likely wants to receive a better deal than the four-year, $17.2 million deal New England Patriots PK Stephen Gostkowski signed last year. The Ravens have until July 15 to sign Tucker to a long-term deal or he will play under the one-year franchise tender of $4.572 million. In the opinion of's Clifton Brown, the Ravens want to sign Tucker to a new deal and Tucker wants to stay.

Fantasy Tip: Tucker made 33 of his 40 field goals in 2015 and is one of the better fantasy kickers available. He should be a weekly starting option in all leagues this season.
