Baltimore Ravens CB Asa Jackson (ankle) is making progress in his return from an ankle injury. He was able to run off to the side during practice Tuesday, Aug. 26, and he worked on his lateral movement with a trainer. "Asa is making progress," head coach John Harbaugh said. "He looked good today moving around."

Baltimore Ravens CB Jimmy Smith (chest) was able to do some running Monday, Aug. 25, but was not on the practice field Tuesday, Aug. 26. However, head coach John Harbaugh indicated Smith should be ready to return to the practice field by the end of the week.

Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Campanaro remains in the mix for a spot on the 53-man roster. If the team elects to keep just five receivers, he would be competing against WRs Kamar Aiken, Jeremy Butler and Deonte Thompson for a spot. Campanaro could help himself in the preseason finale Thursday, Aug. 28, against the New Orleans Saints.

Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens RB Bernard Pierce (concussion) is dealing with a mild concussion, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Pierce was hurt in the first quarter of the team's preseason game against the Washington Redskins and did not practice Monday, Aug. 25. Pierce said via his Twitter account that he is feeling fine.
Fantasy Tip: While Pierce may not play in the team's preseason finale, he should be available to start in the regular season opener. Pierce figures to start at least the first two games of the season while Ray Rice serves his suspension.
