Updating a previous report, Baltimore Ravens WR Michael Campanaro (leg) suffered a partially torn quadriceps muscle, according to MRI results, Wednesday, May 27. He is expected to play in 2015 and should be able to return in time for training camp after rehabilitating the injury. A complete tear would have required surgery and cost him the entire season. Campanaro is expected to see increased playing time in 2015.

Baltimore Ravens RBs Lorenzo Taliaferro and rookie Javorius Allen will battle for the Ravens' backup running back position this offseason, playing behind RB Justin Forsett. The role could end up being shared, according to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley.
Fantasy Tip: As Hensley states, Taliaferro is the better short-yardage option while Allen is able to do more in the open field. This could be a scenario where the down and distance determines who is on the field. Neither has a ton of fantasy appeal.

Fantasy Tip: Williams should see a steady number of targets as a rookie, especially if Dennis Pitta can't return from a hip injury. Consider him a TE2 with upside heading into 2015.

Baltimore Ravens DE Za'Darius Smith could be the one to fill the role vacated by LB Pernell McPhee, according to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley. Hensely says the Ravens are high on Smith's pass-rushing skill.

Fantasy Tip: Smith will be 36 years old when the season starts, so it may be a good idea to lessen his workload. He posted 79 catches, 1.065 yards and six touchdowns this past season but could see a dip in his stats if he does see less time. Smith could still be a solid option in the middle rounds of drafts next season.

Fantasy Tip: Allen will still at least be behind Justin Forsett and Lorenzo Taliaferro, so his role will likely be minimal at least to start the season.

Fantasy Tip: He'll have several hurdles to leap before being considered for a TE2 spot in traditional drafts. He's still a very talented receiver, and his progress needs to be monitored.

Baltimore Ravens TE Dennis Pitta (hip) said he is feeling good and is optimistic about playing in 2015. He has been participating in offseason workouts and is allowed to run and cut. Pitta has also been running routes and catching patches during practice.
Fantasy Tip: Pitta's status for 2015 is still uncertain at this time, so owners should continue to monitor the situation. Pitta is a risky option in fantasy leagues next season and could be a better No. 2 tight end for owners than a starting tight end.

Baltimore Ravens WR Breshad Perriman is already being lauded by QB Joe Flacco. "He looks really good. He looks big, powerful, runs well," Flacco said. "He looks like he has big, strong hands. He snatches the ball out of the air."
Fantasy Tip: Perriman could be the Ravens' No. 3 wide receiver this year behind Steve Smith Sr. and Marlon Brown, but he could supplant Brown as the second starting receiver before all is said and done. However, it could take some time for him to acclimate to the NFL, so consider him a WR4 currently.

Fantasy Tip: He could be more impactful than just in those areas if fellow TE Dennis Pitta is unable to play or is limited. Williams is in a great position to be considered a TE2 in his rookie campaign.
