Goodell will speak with the NFL Players Association about the ownership's Pro Bowl discussion, and then make a decision about the game. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said the league is pushing to have high-speed Wi-Fi in every stadium so fans can have their mobile-device fun. "We believe that it is important to get technology into our stadiums," Goodell said. "We have made the point repeatedly that the experience at home is outstanding, and we have to compete with that in some fashion by making sure that we create the same kind of environment in our stadiums and create the same kind of technology."

The Raiders in particular, according to Owens, would be a good fit. "There's really only one team left in the Bay Area who I haven't played for that really at this point in time is a viable option and that's the Oakland Raiders," Owens said. "Given the opportunity if that's on their radar for me to come in and help them win some ball games and ultimately help them try to win a championship then I'll take that challenge on. I definitely feel I have a lot of football left in me. I think Carson knows that."
