Free-agent RB Karlos Williams (Bills) was not claimed off waivers and is now an unrestricted free agent, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: Williams will be able to pick his next team and should have a new team in the near future. He likely will be a backup this season and could be a late-round option in leagues depending on his role.

Fantasy Tip: Williams should find a job with another team but will still miss the first four games of the 2016 season. Williams probably will be a backup no matter where he plays, but his fantasy value will be determined by his role.

Free-agent LB Mike Neal (Packers) is facing a suspension by Thursday, Aug. 25, if he does not comply with the National Football League's probe into performance-enhancing drugs. The suspension would be for conduct detrimental, and separate from any possible discipline he would face under the league's drug policies.

Free-agent WR Marques Colston (Saints) will continue to rehab his shoulder injury for another month before deciding whether to seek a roster spot somewhere, he told PennLive on Friday, Aug. 12.
Fantasy Tip: Colston was released from the New Orleans Saints after failing a physical in February and has not attracted any known interest from clubs, although it should be noted he is the final month of a six-month rehab from the shoulder injury that ended his 2015 campaign. He has since been hired by a company designed to test professional athletes' physical abilities, so it would appear his NFL future is coming to an end.

The NFL has decided to cancel the Hall of Fame game on Sunday, Aug. 7, between the Green Bay Packers and Indianapolis Colts in Canton, Ohio, has been cancelled due to an unsafe playing surface caused by paint near midfield.
Fantasy Tip: There is some speculation the game will be made up at a later date, but it is a bad look for the league regardless. Andrew Luck was scheduled to play a series or two, while Aaron Rodgers was planning on sitting out. The Colts will now open their preseason slate in Buffalo against the Bills on Saturday, while the Packers will host the Cleveland Browns on Friday.

Fantasy Tip: Richardson might return to the Ravens, but with workhorse Justin Forsett, Buck Allen, Lorenzo Taliaferro and Kenneth Dixon, as well as Terrance West, it's a crowded backfield with very little chance of T-Rich having fantasy appeal anytime soon.

Free-agent QB Nick Foles (Rams) is considering a few options and is expected to make a decision by Wednesday, Aug. 3, or Thursday, Aug. 4, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: Foles likely will be a backup quarterback no matter where he plays in 2016, which means owners can avoid him in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Hester probably will sign with a team at some point during the preseason but likely will not have a big role in an offense. Owners in all leagues can avoid Hester during their drafts.

Fantasy Tip: Foles will likely start the season in a backup role, which makes him a fantasy afterthought in the majority of leagues. Although, should he find his way into a starting gig, he would return to being a low-end QB2 worth owning in two-QB leagues and a potential streaming and DFS option in favorable matchups.

Free-agent WR Roddy White (Falcons) wants to play this season and is in contact with a few teams, according to a source.
Fantasy Tip: White's fantasy value will depend on the team he signs with, if he even signs with someone. As has been the case throughout his career, he will likely still have more fantasy value in PPR formats. View him as a late-round option in such formats.

Fantasy Tip: Hester is washed up, but he could still provide a deep threat to a team in need of one. For now, leave him on waivers in traditional fantasy leagues.
