Free-agent WR Wes Welker (Broncos) has been cleared to continue his playing career by one of the top concussion doctors. Welker said he did well in all of the tests during his visit with the doctor. Welker is working out in Florida and waiting to sign with a team.
Fantasy Tip: Welker has seen his stats drop in each of the last two seasons and has also dealt with some concussions during that time. Welker could receive some interest later in the offseason but likely would not be more than a late-round pick in deeper leagues next season.
