NFL | Coby Fleener still recovering from concussion

Sat, 23 Jun 2018 07:28:43 -0700

Free-agent TE Coby Fleener (concussion) said he is still experiencing some concussion symptoms, although they have not had a major impact on his everyday life. Fleener caught passes and did some running during rehab workouts with the New Orleans Saints this spring without experiencing any setbacks but hasn't cleared the league's concussion protocol. His agent has heard from multiple teams interested in signing him if he's able to resume his playing career.

Fantasy Tip: Fleener will be 30 years old in September and is coming off a disappointing 2017 campaign where he only caught 22 passes for 295 yards and two touchdowns over 11 games. He should not be viewed as a great fantasy option regardless of where he lands, assuming that he is able to return to the NFL.
