Fantasy Tip: Navarro ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) has a weak .221-3-17 line on the season and isn't a FantasyScore option against Yovani Gallardo.

Toronto Blue Jays 1B Edwin Encarnacion hit a grand slam Wednesday, Aug. 26, against the Texas Rangers. He has now hit safely in 21 straight games, going 31-for-79 (.392) with seven homers, 24 RBIs and 19 runs scored during the streak.
Fantasy Tip: Encarnacion ($6,200, 12.4% of cap) is on fire lately and is an obvious must-start in FantasyScore while he is red hot.

Toronto Blue Jays SP Marcus Stroman (knee) is tentatively scheduled to join low-A Lansing Wednesday, Sept. 2, and move up to Class AAA Buffalo Monday, Sept. 7, according to general manager Alex Anthopoulos.
Fantasy Tip: Stroman will first spin a simulated game Friday, Aug. 28, as he hopes to work his way back into the starting rotation. It may be a long shot, though, as the Blue Jays will be cautious with their prized young arm. It is a situation to monitor, but don't be surprised if Stroman pitches out of the bullpen.

Fantasy Tip: Travis ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) has been an elite offensive contributor when in the lineup, but he has been limited to just 62 games. Continue to stash Travis in all formats, but if you need the roster flexibility to keep in contention in your seasonal league, he can be dropped in 12-team formats. It doesn't sound like Travis is coming back anytime soon.

Toronto Blue Jays SP Marcus Stroman (knee) said he felt "great" after throwing a simulated game Monday, Aug. 24. He will throw another one Friday, Aug. 28, and then head to Class AAA Buffalo for some rehab starts.
Fantasy Tip: Stroman could return in September to make a handful of starts, but it's not set in stone. Keep an eye on his progress and consider adding him in deeper leagues if it looks like he'll re-enter the rotation down the stretch. He'll be a risky commodity on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Encarnacion ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) extended his hitting streak to 19 games, and he has three homers, nine RBI and eight runs scored over his last five games. He should be owned on a daily basis at FantasyScore until he cools off.

Fantasy Tip: Goins ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) is batting .417 (5-for-12) against the Halos this season and is hitting .256 during the month of August. However, if you don't need the cap relief on FantasyScore, look for better options at the keystone position.
Sun, 23 Aug 2015 12:29:18 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Thole is making his first appearance at the major league level this season and is not available in FantasyScore. Remove Martin ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) from your daily lineups.
Sun, 23 Aug 2015 12:19:50 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Smoak ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is only batting .192 during the month of August and is just 2-for-16 versus Richards in his career. There are plenty of better first base options available this afternoon in FantasyScore.
Sat, 22 Aug 2015 15:08:32 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Navarro ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) is facing lefty Andrew Heaney tonight, but he's not enough of an offensive threat to use on FantasyScore.

Toronto Blue Jays C Russell Martin (hamstring) is having issues with his left hamstring, but he still played Friday, Aug. 21, in a 9-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Martin collected a hit and an RBI.
Fantasy Tip: Martin ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) may be forced into a DH role if this keeps up, or worse yet he may have to go to the bench. Keep an eye on whether or not he plays or whether the injury starts to affect his bat.
Sat, 22 Aug 2015 04:31:15 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Encarnacion ($5,700, 11.4% of cap), like other Blue Jays hitters, has been pounding the ball hard in August as Toronto keeps its eye on first place. Play him in FantasyScore as long as the matchups are solid and he keeps hitting the ball.
Sat, 22 Aug 2015 04:27:23 -0700
Toronto Blue Jays SP David Price struck out nine hitters Friday, Aug. 21, in a 9-2 win over the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. It was his third win in four starts and improved Price's record to 12-4 overall.
Fantasy Tip: Price ($9,400, 18.8% of cap) has been almost lights-out for a Blue Jays team that has surged in the standings. Right now, he is a must play in FantasyScore every time he takes to the mound.
Fri, 21 Aug 2015 15:59:18 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Smoak ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) actually is hitting .333 (7-for-21) with three of his 11 home runs against lefties, but in a small sample size. He's also much better in the friendly hitting confines of Rogers Centre than he is on the road. Plus, Santiago is allowing lefty sticks to hit for a slash line of only .203/.277/.294 this year. Smoak shouldn't excite many daily gamers tonight.

Toronto Blue Jays SP Mark Buehrle allowed four runs and seven hits in just four innings in a loss against the Philadelphia Phillies Wednesday, Aug. 19. It was his shortest outing of the season. He hadn't allowed more than three runs over his past 13 starts while lasting at least seven innings in 11 of those outings.
Fantasy Tip: Buehrle ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) has been fairly consistent this season, so don't worry too much about this outing. FantasyScore players can continue to trust him, especially when he is at home. Just do not expect many strikeouts.
