Toronto Blue Jays 3B Josh Donaldson hit a solo home run against the Chicago White Sox Wednesday, May 27, and he has now homered four times in the last three games. Donaldson finished the game 1-for-4 with a run and two RBI to lift his average to .314 on the season.
Fantasy Tip: Donaldson ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) has been a beast of late, and he's hitting .312 (29-for-93) with seven home runs and 17 RBI in May. He has 12 home runs and 33 RBI in 2015. He should almost be a lock for FantasyScore lineups against most lefty pitchers, but right now, you can't go wrong at all.

Toronto Blue Jays OF Ezequiel Carrera is starting in right field and hitting seventh in the batting order against Chicago White Sox SP Jeff Samardzija Wednesday, May 27. OF Danny Valencia will start on the bench.
Fantasy Tip: Carrera ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) should be considered a weak play at FantasyScore today against a White Sox pitcher that has come on strong of late after a poor start to the season.

Fantasy Tip: Travis ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) exploded out of the gate, but his production slowed down after suffering the shoulder injury and trying to play through it. Hitting in a high-powered offense will keep his upside high, but you'll want to be patient with him initially, especially FantasyScore players. Continue to check back for updates on his progress and a more clear timeline for his return.

Fantasy Tip: Bautista ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) has been limited to being the designated hitter because of his shoulder injury, but he does not seem to be affected by the injury at the plate. Bautista is only hitting .231 this season but should be a starting option on FantasyScore for his power potential and ability to drive in runs.

Fantasy Tip: Donaldson ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) has played very well for his new team this season and now has 12 home runs on the season. Donaldson should be a starting option on FantasyScore against most matchups.

Toronto Blue Jays OF Jose Bautista (shoulder) make about 25 throws Tuesday, May 26, and did not feel any pain in his shoulder. He started off at 40 feet and then moved to 90 feet. Bautista also fielded fly balls in the outfield during batting practice. Bautista received a cortisone shot Sunday, May 24, and could play in the outfield next week if he does not have any problems.
Fantasy Tip: Bautista ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) can serve as the designated hitter for now but could be able to play in the outfield starting Monday, June 1. Owners should monitor his progress but may be a solid starting option if he is able to play with the injury.

Fantasy Tip: A return to right field for Bautista should open up more playing time at first base for Justin Smoak ($2,200, 4.4% of cap), who has only started and played in four full games in May. Check to see if Smoak has been dropped in AL-only and deep mixed leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Bautista ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) is back after receiving a cortisone shot in his troublesome right shoulder, but he remains as the designated hitter. His .215 average (28-for-130) suggests his shoulder has limited his capabilities with the stick, although he does have seven home runs and 25 RBI. Against Danks tonight, Bautista may fly under the radar and be a great daily play. Danks allows a 9.25 OPS to righty sticks in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: With John Danks pitching for the White Sox, Martin ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) is likely taking a seat because it is a lefty on the hill. Thole ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is not worth the start.
Tue, 26 May 2015 04:17:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Reyes ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) looks like he is all right following time off on the disabled list. It didn't take him very long to get adjusted, so feel free to put him back in your lineup for now.

Toronto Blue Jays SP Drew Hutchison allowed four singles, walked none and struck out eight in a 5-0 shutout of the Chicago White Sox on Monday, May 25. It was Hutchison's first shutout since May 16 of last year.
Fantasy Tip: Hutchison ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has had his share of early struggles, which mainly revolved around the Blue Jays being unable to hit and support their starting pitchers. This is definitely a step in the right direction.

Fantasy Tip: It is not known when Bautista ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) will be able to play again so owners should monitor the situation. Encarnacion ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) should be a nightly starting option on FantasyScore. Smoak ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) is only hitting .217 this month and has recorded two RBI during that span. Owners on FantasyScore should avoid Smoak for the time being.
Mon, 25 May 2015 12:35:53 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Reyes ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) should be left out of the lineup for a bit as he gets used to pitching, but otherwise he will be good to go sometime this week barring injury.
Mon, 25 May 2015 12:30:24 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Sanchez ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) is showing better control, but he is still a matchups pitcher because the Blue Jays have had trouble hitting for their starting rotation.
Sun, 24 May 2015 17:18:11 -0700
Toronto Blue Jays 1B Edwin Encarnacion went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBIs, two runs scored and a walk in an 8-2 win over the Seattle Mariners Sunday, May 24, and he has three home runs in his last four games
Fantasy Tip: Encarnacion ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) has seven RBIs during the same stretch, and eight of his 12 home runs have come this month. He is one of the premier power hitters in the game today, and he is worth paying up for at FantasyScore when he is enjoying a power surge.
