Toronto Blue Jays SP Marcus Stroman will start in Game 2 of the division series against the Texas Rangers Friday, Oct. 9. SPs Marco Estrada and R.A. Dickey will pitch in Games 3 and 4, and it's unknown who will start Game 3.
Fantasy Tip: It's a miraculous accomplishment for a pitcher that tore the ACL in his knee earlier this year. The risk surrounding Stroman ($7,800, 15.6% of cap) is clear, as he's made only four starts this season, although the results were very encouraging with five runs allowed and 18 strikeouts in 27 innings last month. He's also extremely fresh, making him a risk/reward selection in the divisional round.

Fantasy Tip: Price ($9,600, 19.2% of cap) will be facing a very solid Texas ballclub in a hitter's environment, but the fact that he is well rested should make FantasyScore gamers more comfortable paying up with him. Price also has the majors' highest-scoring offense behind him.

Fantasy Tip: Two innings would give Buehrle ($6,900, 13.2% of cap) his 15th consecutive 200-inning season, which is an incredible mark. Don't rule him off the playoff roster just yet until it is official, either. Still, he is an unadvised fantasy option Sunday, though. For his career, Buehrle stands with 214 wins and a 3.81 ERA.

Fantasy Tip: It is best to avoid Buehrle ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) at FantasyScore if he does start since he is unlikely to pitch deep into the game on such short rest. Hutchison ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) wouldn't be much better considering his struggles on the road this season.

Fantasy Tip: Encarnacion ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) is rolling. Start him with confidence at FantasyScore in the season finale as the Blue Jays try to secure home-field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Fantasy Tip: Navarro ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) is 7-for-21 with two home runs and four RBIs versus Archer in his career. FantasyScore owners in search of an affordable catching option should consider using him tonight.

Fantasy Tip: Smoak ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) is batting .353 with two homers and six RBIs over the past week. He is 6-for-17 with a home run and three RBIs versus Archer in his career, so he is worthy of consideration for FantasyScore lineups today.

Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki is not in the starting lineup against Tampa Bay Rays SP Chris Archer Saturday, Oct. 3. INF Ryan Goins will play shortstop and bat eighth, while INF Cliff Pennington plays second base and bats ninth.
Fantasy Tip: This was a scheduled off day for Tulowitzki ($3,800, 7.6% of cap), who went 2-for-5 in his return to action Friday, Oct. 2. Goins ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is batting .474 over the past seven days and is worth considering as a FantasyScore value play, while Pennington ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is 1-for-13 over the same stretch and should be ignored in FantasyScore.

Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki (shoulder) went 2-for-5 with a double and a run scored Friday, Oct. 2, against the Tampa Bay Rays. It was his first game since suffering a left shoulder injury nearly three weeks ago.
Fantasy Tip: Tulowitzki ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) will be out of the lineup Saturday, Oct. 3, but is expected to return to action the following day. FantasyScore owners should feel free to use him without any reservations Sunday.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 19:28:07 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Buehrle ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) is just two innings shy of reaching 200 for the 16th consecutive season, so he could accomplish the feat by throwing a pair of frames during the team's regular-season finale Sunday, Oct. 4.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 14:09:40 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Seasonal owners have two games left of Tulowitzki ($3,800, 7.6% of cap), so it isn't out of the question to look for a shortstop who is going to play three. Plus, there is no guarantee he doesn't have a setback, either. FantasyScore players have a potential value play on their hands, as Tulowitzki's price has dropped significantly.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 12:38:30 -0700
Toronto Blue Jays SS Troy Tulowitzki (shoulder) said there is a chance he could play against Tampa Bay Rays SP Erasmo Ramirez Friday, Oct. 2, but he would have to talk to manager John Gibbons about it first.
Fantasy Tip: Tulowitzki ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is working his way back from a serious injury and hasn't played since Saturday, Sept. 12. His FantasyScore price makes him an attractive dice roll for contests, but he shouldn't be viewed as anything but a gamble. Continue to check back for updates.

Toronto Blue Jays OF Kevin Pillar and 2B Ryan Goins are not in the starting lineup Thursday, Oct. 1. OF Dalton Pompey is starting in center field and hitting leadoff, while SS Jonathan Diaz is starting at shortstop and batting ninth against Baltimore Orioles SP Tyler Wilson.
Fantasy Tip: Pompey ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is certainly worth a look as a sleeper outfield selection on FantasyScore against a hittable pitcher while hitting leadoff. Diaz is not available to own for your daily lineups today.
Thu, 01 Oct 2015 08:36:41 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Tulo ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is at a fantastic price to take a chance on him returning without rust this weekend on FantasyScore.
Thu, 01 Oct 2015 08:22:03 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Pompey ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) has a bright future, but his .191-2-6 line isn't exhibitive of it. He's not a real good FantasyScore option atop this lineup with the stars sitting out against Tyler Wilson.
