The Atlanta Falcons are interested in free-agent QB Matt Schaub (Raiders). The Falcons, Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets are interested in his services, and a source said he is expected to choose a team this week.
Fantasy Tip: It would be interesting to see Schaub return to where his career started, although he would strictly be a backup this time around as long as Matt Ryan stays healty. Schaub's best bet at playing time, and therefore having fantasy appeal, would be signing on the dotted line with the Jets.

Atlanta Falcons FSs Charles Godfrey and Dezmen Southward are expected to stick as the free safeties in 2015, according to new head coach Dan Quinn. "I'm not really looking to build the team through free agency," Quinn said. "There's going to be guys that we added who are going to be part of it this year. But in terms of 'Oh man, we didn't get a guy in free agency,' that will never be the case. Put it this way: I don't worry about the guys who are not here." Southward might be moved to cornerback if Godfrey pans out or the team finds a starting free safety in the draft. Southward is spending his time this offseason working on press coverage.
