Fantasy Tip: Lackey may have parlayed his success last season into another contract of one or two years. He will be a decent selection in the middle rounds of most fantasy drafts, maybe even a little higher if he lands in the right situation.

Free-agent SP Zack Greinke (Dodgers) signing with the San Francisco Giants is his most likely landing spot, according to sources. The Giants already established Greinke was their No. 1 target this offseason.
Fantasy Tip: Greinke had a career-best season in 2015, and he is a fantasy ace regardless of the jersey he dons. He should be one of the first arms grabbed in all seasonal drafts this spring. Stay tuned for updates.

Fantasy Tip: Crawford has been one of the better defensive shortstops in the league since he became San Fran's starting shortstop, but he also took his game to the next level in 2015 and hit for a career-high .256 average with career highs in home runs (21) and RBI (84) in 143 games. Fantasy owners need to pay attention and bump him up a tier in the shortstop rankings for 2016.

Fantasy Tip: Cespedes hit .291 with 35 home runs and 105 RBIs in 159 regular-season games, including a .287-14-54 stat line in 57 contests after the Mets acquired him in a midseason deal. Fantasy owners should avoid drafting him too early based on his hot hitting down the stretch and are unlikely to see him post such a high batting average again. However, the 30-year-old slugger appears to be a safe bet to post similar power numbers in 2016 if he remains healthy.

Fantasy Tip: While it would be foolish to expect Greinke to repeat his 1.66 ERA showing from 2015, he did post a 2.68 mark through 380 innings from 2013-2014. He is a top-tier arm. Samardzija had a rough 2015 season, so a return to the National League bodes well for the veteran. Leake isn't matchup proof so only in cavernous mixed and NL/AL-only leagues is he worth a permanent roster spot. Check back for updates on the Giants offseason activity.

San Francisco Giants 1B Brandon Belt could become trade bait if the team were to sign free-agent 1B Chris Davis (Orioles), but beyond that, general manager Bobby Evans said Belt remains firmly in the team's plans. Belt still has some "residue" from a late-season concussion, but doctors told him not to change his normal offseason workouts. Evans is open-minded about trying to reach an extension with Belt.
Fantasy Tip: Barring an unexpected setback this offseason, Belt should be ready to go in spring training next year. He hit .280 with 18 bombs and 68 RBI and could be overlooked as a strong first base candidate once the bigger names come off the board because of his head injury late last season. Take advantage if that's the case.

Fantasy Tip: Aoki missed a lot of time in his first year with the Giants in 2015. He's a scrappy leadoff hitter type that has very little power that fantasy owners can lean on. He might be in a platoon role if the Giants re-sign him, too, which would likely limit his value to NL-only leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Belt had a career-high 18 home runs in 2015 and can easily reach the 20-homer mark in 2016 if he can remain healthy. Keep an eye on his progress as spring training approaches, but if he's fully healthy, he's not a bad first baseman to build around for your fantasy baseball squad.

San Francisco Giants 1B Brandon Belt (concussion) has yet to be cleared following his concussion and is expected to be examined by a specialist in the coming days. Belt is expected to be fully healthy for spring training. OF Gregor Blanco (concussion) has been cleared after his late-season concussion.
Fantasy Tip: Injuries derailed what was a career year for Belt in 2015. He hit 18 home runs, drove in 68 runs and hit .280 in 137 games for the Giants. Heading into 2016, assuming he's fully healthy, he should be able to build on those numbers for fantasy owners and should once again come at a modest price for first basemen.

Fantasy Tip: Byrd's power and Aoki's contact could make them late-round fliers in drafts next season.

Fantasy Tip: Leake had mixed results after being traded to the Giants midseason and dealt with an injury that clouded his fantasy value. His 2016 fantasy value will largely depend on where he lands in free agency, so stay tuned. On FantasyScore, he can make for a nice second starter with the right matchups.

Fantasy Tip: Aoki hit .287 with five home runs, 26 RBIs and 14 steals in 93 games in 2015. He makes a useful reserve outfielder in NL-only and deep mixed leagues because of his combination of speed and hitting for a decent average.

Fantasy Tip: Heston had a strong season, but he could be relegated to bullpen duty or back in the minors if the club powers up its rotation via free agency. Heston should stay in the majors, however, and if he does look to draft him in the later rounds in NL-only leagues.

San Francisco Giants SP Mike Leake would like to stay with the club in 2016, and the team has indicated it wants to hold onto him. Working out a deal may take some time, however, according to general manager Bobby Evans.
Fantasy Tip: Leake had a bit of a renaissance when he left the Cincinnati Reds, in part because the Giants had a bit of a stronger lineup to protect him. His fantasy value will depend on where the standout goes. If he stays in San Francisco, NL leagues could see Leake drafted in the middle to later rounds.
