Fantasy Tip: Billingsley ($3,300; or 6.6% of cap) is 0-2 with a 6.75 ERA in three starts this season. He is unable to stay healthy, and when he has pitched he hasn't been very good. Avoid him in FantasyScore until he starts to show some consistency.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 13:19:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rupp ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) doesn't have much offensive upside for the Phillies, and he should be considered a low-end catching option on FantasyScore this evening. Rupp has just one home run and six RBI in 95 at-bats this year.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 17:14:29 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Franco ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) had piled up three homers and 10 RBI in the two games prior to the slump, and while the occasional skid can be expected from the youngster, he is showing enough upside to use him at FantasyScore against friendly matchups.

Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown is out of the starting lineup for the second day in a row Sunday, July 28, against the Washington Nationals and RHP Stephen Strasburg. OF Jeff Francoeur will start in right field and hit fifth in the order.
Fantasy Tip: Francoeur ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) has just one hit in his last 15 plate appearances, and he should be left alone on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Revere ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) has 11 hits and seven runs scored in his last five games alone, and he has 40 runs scored and 18 steals for the year. He makes a solid No. 3 outfielder at FantasyScore while he is swinging a hot bat.

Fantasy Tip: Gonzalez's ceiling is limited. Give him a start to show something before using him on FantasyScore.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 09:25:33 -0700
Philadelphia Phillies OF Domonic Brown is not in the starting lineup against Washington Nationals SP Gio Gonzalez Saturday, June 27. OF Jeff Francoeur will start in right field and is batting fourth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: The team is facing a left-handed pitcher, which probably is why Brown is not in the lineup. Francoeur ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) has recorded only one hit in his last six games and is not a great option for owners on FantasyScore.

Philadelphia Phillies 1B Ryan Howard is not in the starting lineup against Washington Nationals SP Gio Gonzalez Saturday, June 27. 3B Maikel Franco will start at first base and is batting third, while SS Andres Blanco will start at third base and is batting sixth.
Fantasy Tip: Howard ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) likely is sitting out because the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Franco ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) has recorded 13 hits and 11 RBI in his last seven games and should be a starting option on FantasyScore. Blanco ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has six RBI in his last three games and is hitting .292 in limited playing time in June, but owners may be able to find better options.
Fri, 26 Jun 2015 14:28:30 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Against Scherzer, there is no reason to turn to Herrera ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) at FantasyScore Friday. Revere ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is posting another solid fantasy season in the stolen base (18) and batting average (.292) category, and he remains a solid low-end option in all leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Sandberg wasn't provided a strong stable to work with, and his 119-159 record as manager of the Phillies indicates it. His stepping down has minimal implications for fantasy players, as outside Maikel Franco there isn't a lot to be excited about in Philadelphia, especially with Cole Hamels and Jonathan Papelbon likely on their way out via trades.
Wed, 24 Jun 2015 14:55:38 -0700
Philadelphia Phillies SP Cole Hamels allowed five runs and eight hits while walking three in five innings in a loss to the New York Yankees Wednesday, June 24, after missing his previous start with a strained right hamstring. Hamels wasn't helped by the defense behind him, either. The Phillies have failed to score in seven of Hamels' 15 starts this year, and they've been shut out in 32 of his last 33 innings.
Fantasy Tip: Hamels ($9,000, 18.0% of cap) certainly didn't put his best foot forward in a possible audition for one of his trade suitors today in the Yankees. He was a shaky FantasyScore play at a high price going in after missing his last start due to injury. Expect Hamels to bounce back.

Fantasy Tip: Blanco ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is 3-for-5 with a homer and six RBI the last two games. It's a very small sample size, but if you're into rolling the dice, here's a chance on FantasyScore.
Tue, 23 Jun 2015 22:40:25 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez ($2,100; or 4.2% of cap) is likely to see regular at-bats now that Chase Utley (ankle) has landed on the 15-day disabled list. At this low price Hernandez is a decent addition in FantasyScore as a salary saver.
Tue, 23 Jun 2015 22:39:54 -0700
The Philadelphia Phillies placed 2B Chase Utley (ankle) on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, June 23, due to a right ankle injury. He will receive a cortisone shot Wednesday, June 24, and will hope rest will relieve his pain.
Fantasy Tip: With Utley on the mend, Cesar Hernandez is likely to take over regular duties at second base. Hernandez ($2,100; or 4.2% of cap) might be a decent short-term add in FantasyScore since he'll see regular at-bats.
Tue, 23 Jun 2015 22:37:49 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Franco ($4,900; or 9.8% of cap) has managed 10 RBIs over the past two games, and he has 10 homers since May 17. Needless to say, he is amped for his first career action at Yankee Stadium and is worth using in FantasyScore for the series finale Wednesday.
