Fantasy Tip: Palmer likely is taking things easy at this point and should be able to play against the Carolina Panthers in Week 8. He has thrown for at least 287 yards in four of his last five games but has only two touchdown passes in his last four games. Palmer can still be considered a low-end No. 1 quarterback in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Brown has a chance to play in Week 8 if he does not have setbacks during practice this week. He has been targeted at least seven times in three of the last four games and should have a solid role in the passing game if he plays. He could be a No. 3 receiver for owners if he is able to play.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to check on Floyd's status later in the week to see if he will be able to play. He has been a bit inconsistent this season but does have three touchdowns in seven games. He could be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option if he is active for the game.

Arizona Cardinals WR John Brown (hamstring) could return to practice as early as Wednesday, Oct. 26, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Brown missed the team's Week 7 game after being diagnosed with the sickle-cell trait, but Arians indicated he should be "fine" by Wednesday and hopes to have Brown available in Week 8.
Fantasy Tip: Brown performed well in three of his previous four games and could be in for a tasty matchup against a Carolina Panthers secondary that has had more than its share of problems this season. Keep an eye on his condition as the week progresses.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd has three touchdowns to his name this year, but he hasn't been as heavily as involved as expected before the season started. He hasn't surpassed five catches or 65 yards in any of the six games he's played. It may be inconvenient to bench him, but he's not a reliable starter right now.

Fantasy Tip: Brown wasn't much more than just a deep threat when Arizona's top three receivers were healthy. The loss of Brown could mean more looks for J.J. Nelson and Brittan Golden. Nelson is primarily a deep threat, too. Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown and Michael Floyd will continue to see most of the targets, though, so don't trip over your leaguemates on your way to claim either Nelson or Golden.

Fantasy Tip: Although primarily a fourth receiver and special teamer, Brown's loss is a difficult blow for an Arizona offense. Not only was Brown logging snaps at the expense of Michael Floyd, but he was also filling in for John Brown, who missed Week 7 due to leg pain caused by his sickle-cell trait. Brittan Golden saw more time after the injury Sunday, but he is only a low-upside, deep-league add at the moment in an offense that is leaning more and more on the running game this year.
