Fantasy Tip: Niklas played in just seven games in 2014 due to a broken hand and hernia surgery. He should be the Cardinals No. 1 tight end heading into offseason activities with Carlson now out of the picture. If he can stay healthy, Niklas has TE2 potential.

Fantasy Tip: The Cardinals are in need of a tight end with the retirement of TE John Carlson. Gresham had back surgery in March, so it's important that he is medically cleared for football activities first. If Arizona does acquire Gresham or another tight end, they would compete with TE Troy Niklas for the starting job.

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson could be the man to beat for the No. 2 running back spot in Arizona, according to Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com. Johnson would primarily play in red-zone and third-down situations, while RB Andre Ellington would still be the primary ball carrier.
Fantasy Tip: Johnson won't hold a lot of value, and running backs in third-down and red-zone roles shouldn't be relied upon in any given week, but he could provide a few touchdowns and is worth a flyer with Ellington's injury history.

Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer (knee) participated in on-field drills with the team Monday, May 4. He handed the ball off to the running backs and threw short, intermediate and deep throws to his receivers. While the action wasn't close to replicating game-like conditions, Palmer said joining the rest of the team on the field was a big mental boost after missing the last eight games of the 2014 season.
Fantasy Tip: Palmer is probably a solid QB2 at this stage of his career coming off an ACL tear.

Fantasy Tip: Although it sounds like Ellington will have a shot to be the lead back again in 2015, his small frame is a concern. He was unable to stay healthy or produce many big plays while doing the heavy lifting in the backfield last year. Still, a lack of competition in Arizona makes him a low-end RB2 in traditional formats, and his value receives a boost in PPR formats.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson rolled up serious numbers at UNI, going for more than 1,000 rushing yards in each of the past three seasons while also posting 10 or more touchdowns in each campaign. He was a big-time producer at the FCS level, but stepping up to the NFL will be a test. He has a chance to win the backup job behind Andre Ellington, and Ellington hasn't exactly been a picture of a health so Johnson could make a splash sooner rather than later. PPR players will want to watch him closely, too.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd had a solid 2014 season with 841 yards and six touchdowns in 16 games, but it looks like he could be moved this offseason. Floyd's fantasy value could be affected if he his traded since his role in an offense likely would change.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd had shown signs of stardom in his young NFL career, but has yet to reach his full potential. He has increased his touchdown total in each of his first three seasons (2, 5, 6), however. If Carson Palmer can stay on the field, Floyd has a good shot to make 2015 a career year.

Fantasy Tip: Brown had an early season run of 43-603-5 in the first 12 games but tailed off with 13-161-0 in the final four. He's worth a flyer as a WR4.

Arizona Cardinals LB Larry Foote said he is "50-50" on returning for the 2015 season. Most insiders expect him to retire and remain with the team as inside linebackers coach. Head coach Bruce Arians said Foote needs to decide before rosters cut down to 75 players during training camp.
