Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) felt some progress in his sprained left medial collateral ligament Tuesday, Nov. 25, according to head coach Bruce Arians. Fitzgerald was pretty upset that he was unable to play in Week 12.
Fantasy Tip: Fitzgerald ($5,900) will do everything in his power to play against the Atlanta Falcons this weekend. The Falcons are a great matchup for wide receivers, too, but even if Fitz plays, his mobility is likely to be limiting, making him an unattractive FantasyScore option.

Arizona Cardinals RB Michael Bush fits the role of a big, bruising ball carrier who can be effective in the red zone and at the goal line, and head coach Bruce Arians is hoping Bush can fill the role that RB Jonathan Dwyer had. "We really miss John," Arians said. "I like our backs but we need a guy that's going to pound it in there and close out some games in short yardage and goal-line situations," Arians said. Bush has 12 touchdowns on 26 goal-line carries in his career. Arians said Bush is in "great shape" after not having played this year.
Fantasy Tip: Bush won't be available at FantasyScore in Week 13, so you don't have to worry about him. However, in future weeks, he could be a cheap flex play if you're willing to take a chance on him vulturing some goal-line scores.

Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington and WR Michael Floyd both saw the fewest offensive snaps of the season in the Week 12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Ellington played 39 of 54 offensive snaps, while Floyd played 45 snaps. WR Jaron Brown (40 snaps) saw the most snaps of the season by more than double.
Fantasy Tip: Don't read too much into this; the Cardinals offense was lackluster all game against a rejuvenated Seahawks defense on the road, and they were without Larry Fitzgerald (knee). In Week 13 against a putrid Atlanta Falcons defense, both Ellington and Floyd should bounce back.

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald (knee) is unsure when he will return from his knee injury, according to head coach Bruce Arians. "We still don't know anything about Larry," Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said. "If we were practicing today, he would not practice. We'll see how he improves by Wednesday and go from there." General manager Steve Keim said Fitzgerald remains day-to-day a week after suffering a Grade 2 medial collateral ligament sprain. He was a game-time decision in Week 12 but "couldn't run," which led him to be inactive.
Fantasy Tip: The Cards' passing game struggled big time without Fitz, and Michael Floyd didn't even have a reception. If Fitzgerald returns to face the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday, he should gain your attention at FantasyScore. Atlanta has allowed 25.65 fantasy points to wideouts per game this season.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals QB Drew Stanton (ankle) said Sunday, Nov. 23, that his ankle got rolled in the Week 12 game against the Seattle Seahawks late in the fourth quarter. He said he was fine, and would have played if the team got the ball back.

Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore owners should avoid Fitzgerald until he can officially make it back and prove his health in one full game without any setbacks.

Fantasy Tip: Floyd was blanketed by Richard Sherman for most of the day. It's the second time in five games he has been blanked, and he had just one catch in Week 10. With just seven receptions in the past five games, FantasyScore owners will want to avoid him until he gets untracked.

Fantasy Tip: Fitzgerald has been one of the most durable receivers over the past several seasons but is not able to play this week. John Brown probably will receive more playing time and could be a flex option on FantasyScore at $4,700.
