Fantasy Tip: Ellington ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) has been limited for two straight days now. It seems likely that he'll play, but he'll probably still be splitting time with at least Chris Johnson. While he is cheap, he may not be worth starting until he's fully healthy.

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson will lose playing time with RB Andre Ellington (knee) on the mend. RB Chris Johnson figures to be the featured back with Ellington behind him. "It's not hard, because the young guy (David Johnson) sits down," head coach Bruce Arians said.
Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) is a midrange RB2 on FantasyScore against Detroit. Ellington ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) really isn't a good option this week as he kicks the rust off. David Johnson ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) is too highly priced to use in a limited role.

Fantasy Tip: The Cardinals are expecting Ellington ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) to return this weekend against the Detroit Lions. Be careful, though, as he'll likely see limited touches with Chris Johnson ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) still technically the starter and with David Johnson ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) still making an impact. The return of Ellington makes this a backfield that could cause headaches for fantasy owners.

Arizona Cardinals RB Chris Johnson contemplated retirement after his right shoulder was wounded in a shooting during the offseason. Johnson didn't have use of his right hand for almost three months after the shooting. Johnson is averaging 19.3 carries per start and being utilized in the passing and running game.
Fantasy Tip: CJ2K ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) could start to lose carries with Andre Ellington (knee) on the mend, but he's still a solid option on FantasyScore this week. He faces a middling Detroit Lions run defense and is worth the RB2 look.
Wed, 07 Oct 2015 07:26:53 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) could taper back this week with Andre Ellington (knee) close to returning. Detroit is in the middle of the pack as far as defending RBs this year, and CJ2K remains a midrange flex option on FantasyScore.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Cardinals RB Andre Ellington (knee) is expected to play in the Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions, head coach Bruce Arians said in a satellite radio interview Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Fantasy Tip: Ellington ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) might very well play, but he is still a risky FantasyScore play until he can officially return and prove his health in a full game without any setbacks.

Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald leads the league in touchdown catches (five) and is third in receiving yards (432) through four games this year. QB Carson Palmer is second in touchdown passes (10) to Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (11). RB Chris Johnson is ranked fifth in the NFL with 302 rushing yards, and he's averaging 4.4 yards per carry.
Fantasy Tip: The Detroit Lions, Arizona's Week 5 opponent, is allowing the sixth-most fantasy points to quarterbacks (23.6) and seventh-most point-per-reception points to receivers (40.7) per game this year, making Palmer ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) and Fitzgerald ($7,200, 14.4% of cap) fine daily picks this weekend. Johnson's ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) outlook is a little more cloudy with Andre Ellington possibly returning.

Fantasy Tip: The fact that Ellington was close to playing in Week 4 more than likely means that Ellington will be able to play in Week 5. Chris Johnson and David Johnson should still see the field, too, though. Plus, Ellington could be a little rusty. There are probably better running back options this week.

Fantasy Tip: Bruce Arians promised to get Floyd ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) more involved earlier in the week and he made good on his word. Still, he has a while to go before FantasyScore players can trust him again.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 22:03:28 -0700
Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson ran three times for 18 yards in the Week 4 game against the St. Louis Cardinals, but most of his damage came through the air. He finished with four receptions for 63 yards and a touchdowns while being targeted 10 times.
Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) was a tremendous FantasyScore option for those who rolled the dice on him. He only had seven touches but he made the most of his opportunities.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 22:02:48 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) made it through the entire game without any setbacks and appears to be a fine FantasyScore play going forward.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 22:01:59 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Palmer ($8,300, 16.6% of cap) had his third 300-yard passing day in four starts, but it was his first game without throwing at least two touchdowns. He remains a fantastic FantasyScore option week in and week out.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 20:42:22 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Fitzgerald ($7,100, 14.2% of cap) didn't find the end zone, but he has had at least 87 receiving yards in all four games. He looks entrenched as the team's top target, and he should be a strong WR2 going forward.
