Arizona Cardinals RB Chris Johnson may be a candidate for a contract extension because he has played well this season, according to general manager Steve Keim. Johnson signed a one-year deal with the team during the offseason.
Fantasy Tip: Johnson appears to have taken over the starting running back job and has rushed for at least 100 yards in two of the last three games. Johnson has become a weekly starting option in fantasy leagues and could be a solid option against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Palmer ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) is playing at an elite level, and his FantasyScore price point has grown to such. He has a solid matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Brown ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) caught his first touchdown since the opener, and while Larry Fitzgerald ($7,200, 14.4% of cap) remains the safer option at FantasyScore, Brown is intriguing low-priced play because of his big-play upside.

Fantasy Tip: Although Fitzgerald ($7,200, 14.4% of cap) had his fewest receiving yards of the year, he scored for the sixth time in five games. He has turned back the clock to start the year and deserves weekly consideration at FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Ellington ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) scored on a 63-yard burst, and while he has big-play ability, he is too risky to use at FantasyScore until he starts receiving more than a handful of touches per game.

Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) cruised over 100 yards in the blowout, and even with Andre Ellington ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) back in the fold, Johnson received a bulk of the carries. For now, he is the Arizona back to own at FantasyScore.

Arizona Cardinals QB Carson Palmer was rested for a majority of the fourth quarter in a blowout win against the Detroit Lions in Week 5. Palmer finished completing 11 of his 14 passes for 161 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. QB Drew Stanton replaced him and finished the rout.
Fantasy Tip: Palmer ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) has been one of the most reliable FantasyScore options all season, posting at least one touchdown in each of his first five games, and two or more TD strikes in four of his five games with three 300-yard games.

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson has two touchdowns through three quarters in the Week 5 game against the Detroit Lions, giving him six for the season. He ties a franchise record for touchdowns in the first five games of a career, joining Ollie Matson (1952) and Bob Shaw (1950).
Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has emerged as a solid low-end RB2 or flex FantasyScore play with his high scoring ways.

Arizona Cardinals RB David Johnson will see his role reduced if RB Andre Ellington (knee) plays well when he returns from injury and RB Chris Johnson continues to play well, head coach Bruce Arians said. "It's not hard because the young guy sits down" Arians said.
Fantasy Tip: Chris Johnson ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) was already receiving a majority of the carries with Ellington ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) sidelined, and now that Ellington is set to return, David Johnson ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) is going to fall to third in the pecking order and isn't worth using at FantasyScore.
