Minnesota Twins C Kurt Suzuki is not in the starting lineup Friday, April 17. C Chris Herrmann is starting behind the plate and hitting eighth in the batting order against Cleveland Indians SP Corey Kluber.
Fantasy Tip: Herrmann ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) should be avoided in all daily games tonight while facing a tough matchup in Kluber.

Minnesota Twins OF Torii Hunter is sitting the bench against the Cleveland Indians Friday, April 17. SS Eduardo Escobar is starting in left field and hitting second in the batting order against Indians SP Corey Kluber.
Fantasy Tip: Escobar ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) benefits from hitting at the top of the Minnesota lineup, but we don't recommend using him at FantasyScore tonight while going up against the reigning AL Cy Young winner in Kluber.

Fantasy Tip: Mauer ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) had just a single RBI heading into Thursday's game, and he is still looking for his first extra-base hit on the year and has scored just one run. His total lack of power severely limits his upside, and Mauer isn't going to add much to a FantasyScore lineup.

Minnesota Twins OF Jordan Schafer is not in the starting lineup against Kansas City Royals left-handed SP Jason Vargas Thursday, April 16. OF Shane Robinson is starting in center field and hitting ninth in the batting order in his place.
Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) isn't an offensive threat at all, really, so he should be ignored in all daily games. Hitting at the bottom of the Minnesota order shouldn't endear him at all to fantasy gamers.
Thu, 16 Apr 2015 08:59:58 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Nolasco ($3,000, 6.0% of your cap) hasn't been affective enough to consider on FantasyScore when he returns.

Minnesota Twins OF Oswaldo Arcia will likely sit out against left-handed pitchers, according to manager Paul Molitor. "I'd like to see his at bats pick up in terms of consistency," Molitor said. "The best chance to do that right now is against right-handers."
Fantasy Tip: Arcia ($2,900, 5.8% of your cap) has had a slow start, but he could be a low-end outfielder worth using on FantasyScore as the season progresses.
Thu, 16 Apr 2015 08:14:03 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Eduardo Escobar ($1,600, 3.2% of your cap) is in left, but he isn't a good plug-and-play option on FantasyScore today.
Wed, 15 Apr 2015 16:46:50 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Nolasco ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) is an afterthought outside of AL-only leagues, and even then, he is a desperation start. Until Nolasco strings together a few nice starts and lands in a favorable matchup he has no business in your FantasyScore lineup.
Tue, 14 Apr 2015 10:59:50 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Gibson ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) had a rough go of it in his season debut last week. He should be considered a weak play Wednesday against the Royals, who surprisingly, have been one of the hottest hitting offensive teams in the league to begin the season.
Mon, 13 Apr 2015 19:39:00 -0700
Minnesota Twins SP Ricky Nolasco (elbow) is scheduled to play catch Wednesday, April 15. He said Monday, April 13, that it is still too soon to know if he'll be ready to come off the 15-day disabled list for the road series against the Seattle Mariners from April 24-26.
Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore owners will want to avoid Nolasco until he is able to officially return from the DL and prove his health in at least one full start without any setbacks. Trevor May is taking Nolasco’s spot in the rotation, but after getting tuned up Monday, FantasyScore owners shouldn’t have much confidence in May’s abilities.
Mon, 13 Apr 2015 10:29:23 -0700
Minnesota Twins OF Jordan Schafer is not in the starting lineup against Kansas City Royals SP Danny Duffy Monday, April 13. OF Shane Robinson is starting in center field in his place and batting ninth in the order.
Fantasy Tip: Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has very limited power and hasn't hit better than .253 in any of his major league seasons. Ignore him at FantasyScore.
Sun, 12 Apr 2015 08:22:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Vargas ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) has one double and just three hits in 19 plate appearances to start the season. Vargas gets the day of rest against one of the league's top left-handers, while Twins 3B Trevor Plouffe will move across the diamond and play first base.
Sat, 11 Apr 2015 09:29:11 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Nolasco ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) does not have any structural damage, so he may not miss a lot of time because of the injury. May should join the starting rotation but may not be a great option on FantasyScore at this point.
Sat, 11 Apr 2015 08:32:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Shane Robinson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is taking Hunter's place in the starting lineup. Robinson has received only one at bat so far this season and probably should be avoided by owners on FantasyScore.
Sat, 11 Apr 2015 04:54:27 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Pelfrey ($3,000, 6% of cap) will likely have a place in the rotation, barring injury or ineffectiveness, because of the injury to Ricky Nolasco and the suspension of Ervin Santana. This may not be an ideal start even with the low cost. The Twins' offense has been horrid at times, and White Sox starter Jeff Samardzija will be angry after a lackluster opening outing.
