Fantasy Tip: Berrios is the team's top pitching prospect after going 8-3 with a 3.08 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 92 strikeouts in 90 2/3 innings over 15 starts for Class AA Chattanooga this year. If he performs well at Class AAA, he could be called up to Minnesota later this year. He should be firmly on your radar in dynasty and keeper leagues.

Minnesota Twins C Kurt Suzuki (throat) is back in the lineup Tuesday, June 30, after taking a warmup throw to his throat in the game Monday, June 29. However, he's expected to sit out Wednesday, July 1.
Fantasy Tip: Suzuki ($3,100, 6.2% of cap), who's hitting .224 (47-for-210) with three home runs and 21 RBI on the season, is a midrange catching option on FantasyScore that doesn't have much power upside.

Fantasy Tip: Hughes ($5,300; or 10.6% of cap) has pitched well in interleague play, and he is working against a youngster. The Reds are 4-13 in their past 17 interleague games, making Hughes an intriguing mid-level FantasyScore play.

Fantasy Tip: Nolasco ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) has a 5.40 ERA, a 1.54 WHIP and 6.7 K/9 over his last 34 starts. Those aren't the statistics fantasy owners are looking for, in any format. At best, Nolasco is worth the odd spot start in the most favorable of matchups when healthy. Continue to check back for updates on what is next for the starter.

Fantasy Tip: Santana ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) will definitely be inserted, but the question is who leaves. Speculation had Tom Milone ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) being removed, but Trevor May ($5,400, 10.8 of cap) could be a casualty with a 4-6 record and a 4.62 ERA. Or Molitor could go with a six-man rotation. Stay tuned to see what happens.

Fantasy Tip: Vargas ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) is not in the lineup because the team is playing in a National League park and there is no designated hitter. Vargas should return to the lineup when the team returns to an American League park.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 08:37:25 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Nunez ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) probably will return to the lineup in the near future. Santana has gone hitless since returning to the team and should not be a starting option in fantasy leagues.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 08:25:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Escobar ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) has five hits and four RBI in his last four games and is hitting a solid .255 this month. Owners on FantasyScore could consider using Escobar as a cheaper option, but they could spend a little more for a more consistent option.

Minnesota Twins 2B Brian Dozier went 2-for-3 with a walk and a steal in a 5-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Saturday, June 27, and he has hit safely in all nine career games at Miller Park, posting a .436 average.
Fantasy Tip: Dozier ($5,600, 11.2% of cap) is having a strong all-around season, so it should be no surprise that he has enjoyed plenty of success at Milwaukee's hitter-friendly park. Feel free to start him at FantasyScore in the series finale Sunday.

Fantasy Tip: Hunter ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) has been struggling in June, and he entered Saturday's game hitting just .211 with one home run. Maybe the big game will start a hot streak, but wait until he strings together a few more solid performances before trusting him at FantasyScore.

Minnesota Twins OF Eduardo Escobar is in the starting lineup against Milwaukee Brewers SP Matt Garza Saturday, June 27, playing left field and batting seventh. OF Eddie Rosario, who started in left field Friday, June 26, is playing center field and batting second Saturday.
Fantasy Tip: Escobar ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) is only batting .174 on the road this season, compared to a .302 mark at home. He is hitless in three career at-bats against Garza and is not a great FantasyScore option.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 10:20:31 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Santana ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is only batting .161 in 87 at-bats on the road this year and is just 1-for-6 against Garza in his career. He is not a great FantasyScore option this afternoon.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 10:19:36 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Suzuki ($3,200, 6.1% of cap) is getting a regular day off, with the team playing a day game following a night game. Herrmann ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is only batting .182 this season and is 0-for-4 in his career against Garza, so he should be avoided in FantasyScore.

In his second minor league start for Class AAA Rochester, Minnesota Twins SP Ervin Santana (suspension) allowed three runs on seven hits over seven innings Thursday, June 25, with two walks and three strikeouts. He served up a pair of home runs and threw 65 of his 97 pitches for strikes.
Fantasy Tip: Santana ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) will make one more start in the minors before being activated. He is tentatively set to make his return to the majors July 5, but FantasyScore owners should wait one or two starts before using him to see how effective he is.

Fantasy Tip: Hunter ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) makes for a fine selection as a value pick Friday night on FantasyScore against Lohse, who has allowed 10 home runs and an 8.48 ERA at hitter-friendly Miller Park this season.
