Fantasy Tip: Maldonado ($1,600; 3.2% of cap) will be the regular catcher with Juan Centeno coming up from the minors to serve as his backup. It wonít take much for Maldonado to live up to FantasyScore salary expectations, and his inclusion in your lineup will provide relief to afford more stars up top.

Fantasy Tip: Centeno will serve as the backup to Martin Maldonado, and is just one injury away from being a regular. FantasyScore owners might find Centeno useful if and when he gets a start, as his DFS salary will be minimal.

Updating a previous report, Milwaukee Brewers C Jonathan Lucroy (toe) has a fractured toe on his left foot and he will be placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, April 21. The team is expected to recall C Juan Centeno from Triple-A Colorado Springs to serve as the backup to C Martin Maldonado.
Fantasy Tip: Itís uncertain how much time Lucroy will miss. However, Maldonado ($1,600; 3.2% of cap) is likely to be the regular receiver until Lucroy is able to return. At such a small price he is a great addition in the coming days.

Fantasy Tip: If Lucroy is forced to miss time it would make Martin Maldonado a solid low-end FantasyScore play at just $1,600 (or 3.2% of cap).

Fantasy Tip: Continue to stash Gomez in all formats and check back for updates. Gerardo Parra ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) is filling in for Gomez, but hasn't caught any traction with his bat. He has gone 3-for-14 over his past four starts with a .267 OBP. Still, at his cap hit, Parra has upside for FantasyScore contests.

Fantasy Tip: Continue to check back for updates on Gennett's recovery and return timeline. He isn't worth stashing in the majority of formats. Hector Gomez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is expected to receive the majority of starts at the keystone in his absence. Take a wait-and-see approach with Gomez in FantasyScore contests.

Updating a previous report, Milwaukee Brewers 2B Scooter Gennett (hand) cut the top of his left hand Sunday, April 19. Gennett said he cut his hand in the shower while reaching for body wash. He struck the edge of the metal rack it was resting on and cut his left hand.
Fantasy Tip: The organization has yet to comment on the injury or the expected length of Gennett's ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) absence. So take his own word with a grain of salt. Expect Hector Gomez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) to see the bulk of playing time in his absence, and if he flashes some skills with the twig, he may be a great cheap FantasyScore play. Check back for updates on Gennett's return timeline.

Fantasy Tip: It's still very early, but there should be some concern whether the thumb injury has affected his swing and zapped his power. At $5,100 (10.2% of your cap), he really can't be used on FantasyScore until he shows signs of life.
Sun, 19 Apr 2015 09:38:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Jimenez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has gone without a hit in his seven at-bats this season. Owners should be able to find better options to use at third base.
Sun, 19 Apr 2015 09:26:05 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Ramirez ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) should return to the lineup for the team's next game. Luis Jimenez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) will take over has the starting third baseman for the game but should not be a starting option on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: The move was made to try to jumpstart Milwaukee's offense, and while it seems unlikely Braun ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) will remain atop the lineup for long, his RBI potential will take a hit in the meantime. It may best to avoid Braun as the Brewers work out all the kinks with their lineup.
Fri, 17 Apr 2015 15:21:05 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It is still an early, but fantasy owners should prepare to be without Gomez for the foreseeable future. In his absence, Gerardo Parra ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) receives a huge value boost, and he is capable of helping in the majority of formats. Parra is a great low-priced target for FantasyScore players at his current price point.
Fri, 17 Apr 2015 13:05:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Segura ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is expected to man the leadoff spot for at least the next couple of weeks with Carlos Gomez (hamstring) on the DL. Scooter Gennett ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) could also see time atop the lineup. Segura's fantasy baseball value will receive a boost in the short term, and he's a solid shortstop option at FantasyScore this evening.
Fri, 17 Apr 2015 12:53:08 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It is a scheduled night off for Walker, so make sure to remove him from all your fantasy lineups. Sean Rodriguez ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is starting at the keystone and batting eighth. Consider anything other than cap relief a miraculous return from Rodriguez, and FantasyScore players should likely aim higher. Rodriguez hit just .200 off of right-handed pitchers last season.

Milwaukee Brewers OF Carlos Gomez (hamstring) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday, April 17. The move is retroactive to April 16. OF Jason Rogers was recalled from Triple-A Colorado Springs.
Fantasy Tip: Place Gomez on your disabled list in traditional leagues. Gerardo Parra ($1,900, 3.8% of your cap) could be a matchup play on FantasyScore in his absence. Rogers has little fantasy appeal.
