Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig said he was told that he will be on the team's National League Division Series roster. Manager Don Mattingly said all players have been told whether or not they have made the roster, although it will not be publicly announced until it is submitted to Major League Baseball Friday, Oct. 9.
Fantasy Tip: Puig ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) returned from the disabled list from a hamstring injury during the final week of the regular season but his status for the playoffs remained up in the air until now. It remains to be seen how much Puig will play during the NLDS, so he is a very risky play in FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Van Slyke ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) suffered the initial injury to his wrist Sept. 15, and re-aggravated the injury while playing first base last week after getting brushed by baserunner Marlon Byrd. He is able to throw but can't hit, despite receiving a cortisone injection.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw is unlikely to pitch on short rest if necessary in Game 4 of the division series against the New York Mets under the new front office led by president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman. The Dodgers haven't committed to a Game 4 starter but would decide between Kershaw on short rest or SP Alex Wood.
Fantasy Tip: Wood ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) becomes an extremely risky FantasyScore pick as a sleeper for your second pitching spot since it's still up in the air that he'll be included in the division series rotation. Pay up for Kershaw ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) as your ace and take your chances.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw has a 5.12 ERA in 11 career playoff outings and was the losing pitcher in each of the Dodgers' last two season-ending losses in the postseason. On the flip side, Kershaw had been the major-league ERA leader for four straight seasons before this year and led the league with 301 strikeouts in 2015.
Fantasy Tip: You should ignore Kershaw's ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) past failures in the playoffs. This is a new year and he remains one of the best pitchers on the planet, if not the best. Pay up for him as your top pitcher in the divisional round and go from there.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) had a pretty solid 2015 season but did allow 11 runs over two starts in September in an otherwise clean month to enter the playoffs. It's hard to say what how the long layoff will affect him against the Mets Monday, and he's a risk/reward pick on FantasyScore for your second pitching spot.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw will start Game 1 of the division series against the New York Mets Friday, Oct. 9, followed by SP Zack Greinke Saturday, Oct. 10, and SP Brett Anderson Monday, Oct. 12.
Fantasy Tip: It's hard to argue against Kershaw ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) or Greinke ($8,800, 17.6% of cap) as one of your FantasyScore aces in the divisional round, but they're all the top two most expensive playoff pitchers. Anderson ($6,900, 13.8% of cap) is a sleeper as a second starter.

Fantasy Tip: Puig ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) is only expected to serve as a pinch hitter or pinch runner in the playoffs, although he could see a start here or there if the team faces a lefty. You're best off avoiding him entirely on FantasyScore.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw is expected to start in Game 1 of the Division Series against the New York Mets this week. He finished with 300 strikeouts this year and also led the majors in innings with 232 2/3. Kershaw finished the regular season with a 2.13 ERA, making him the fourth different pitcher to record at least 300 strikeouts with fewer than 250 innings pitched.
Fantasy Tip: Kershaw ($9,900, 19.8% of cap) will be the most expensive starter on FantasyScore in the divisional round, but he's worth paying up for to kick things off in the postseason.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 14:35:45 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kershaw ($9,900, 19.8% of cap) is, without a doubt, the top pitcher in baseball and will be gone with the first pick in most drafts next March.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 11:10:41 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Guerrero ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is 9-for-26 (.346) with five RBIs since Sept. 1, following a dismal July and August. However, he has only homered once since the All-Star break and is just batting .179 at Dodger Stadium this season, so he is a somewhat risky FantasyScore play.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 07:23:08 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Jansen didn't make his season debut until May 15, so a full season of work would have had him in contention for the league lead in saves. He checks out as a top-tier closer for the 2016 season. Just note, it is rare for closers to remain elite for multiple season.
Sun, 04 Oct 2015 07:19:10 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Zack Greinke allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out eight batters during the Dodgers' 2-1 win over the San Diego Padres Saturday, Oct. 3. Greinke finished the season with a league-best 1.66 ERA among qualified pitchers.
Fantasy Tip: Greinke ($9,800, 19.6% of cap) returned a top-three showing among his peers this season, and has been lights out since joining the Dodgers. The fantasy ace owns a 51-15 record with a 2.30 ERA, a 1.03 WHIP and a 8.3 K/9 through 92 starts with Los Angeles.
Sat, 03 Oct 2015 16:22:50 -0700
Fantasy Tip: J-Roll ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) has hit .303 against lefties this year as he takes on lefty Robbie Erlin. He doesn't have a lot of upside, but he's a low-end target on FantasyScore.
Sat, 03 Oct 2015 16:17:16 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers OF Joc Pederson and OF Andre Ethier are out of the lineup Saturday, Oct. 3, against a left-handed starter. OF Enrique Hernandez is leading off, and OF Justin Ruggiano is hitting fifth.
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is a great start against lefty Robbie Erlin as he has a .427-4-16 split against lefties. Ruggiano ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) hits lefties to a .309-5-11 clip this year, and he's a low-end flyer on FantasyScore.
Sat, 03 Oct 2015 14:56:50 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Puig ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) faces lefty Robbie Erlin and hits lefties pretty well. He's at a nice price if you want to plug him in your FantasyScore lineups.
