Fantasy Tip: The trend doesn't exactly make sense since Turner ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) is a right-handed batter, but it is hard to argue with his numbers dating back to last year. Don't hesitate to plug him into your lineup at FantasyScore whenever he draws a friendly matchup against a righty.

Fantasy Tip: Alvarez is a hard-throwing 19-year-old that will take some time to develop. He has a high ceiling, though, and is worth consideration in dynasty formats.

Fantasy Tip: Frias ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) went 1-3 in six starts with a 4.50 ERA during the month of June and hasn't pitched beyond the sixth inning in any of his last four games. He allowed three runs and seven hits in five innings in his last start against the Diamondbacks Tuesday, June 30, but struggled with his control, walking three batters while only striking out one. Avoid him in FantasyScore for the foreseeable future.

Fantasy Tip: Ellis ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) isn't much of an offensive force (.171-0-3) and should be avoided on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Guerrero ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) has plenty of power with 10 home runs and 30 RBI on the year in part-time duty (143 at-bats), but he hit only .220 (11-for-50) with a home run and nine RBI in June. Regardless, he's a value pick on FantasyScore in a starting role tonight.

Fantasy Tip: Van Slyke ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) had only four hits in 18 at-bats in June as a bench option for LA, but he is hitting .300 (9-for-30) with two of his four home runs against southpaws this year. He's not a bad pick on FantasyScore tonight as a value play hitting in the heart of the Dodgers order.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Joc Pederson is not in the lineup against Arizona Diamondbacks left-handed SP Robbie Ray Wednesday, July 1. OF Enrique Hernandez is starting in center field and hitting leadoff.
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) can maximize his at-bats for daily gamers in the leadoff spot, but there is little offensive upside to his bat. He does have three home runs in 88 at-bats for the Dodgers this year, but Ray has been pretty exceptional for Arizona since being called up. Hernandez is a deep sleeper and a nice source of salary cap relief.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Brett Anderson went 2-1 with a 2.67 ERA over five starts in June, and he allowed a single run on five hits over seven innings with 10 strikeouts in his last start against the Miami Marlins. Anderson faces the Arizona Diamondbacks Wednesday, July 1.
Fantasy Tip: Anderson ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) is a viable No. 2 starter option for FantasyScore players Wednesday, however, counting on another high-strikeout total might prove to be ill-advised. Even with the 10-strikeout showing last time out, Anderson has a 6.3 K/9 for the season.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Carlos Frias hasn't gone six innings in any of his last three starts, and he is 1-3 with a 4.34 ERA in June. However, he gave up just one run and eight hits in 6 2/3 innings in a no-decision the last time he faced the Arizona Diamondbacks June 9. Frias is 1-0 in two starts against Arizona this year and has allowed just a run over 12 innings.
Fantasy Tip: Frias ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) has looked more human of late and now has a 4.31 ERA and 1.52 WHIP on the season in 11 starts. The low FantasyScore salary shouldn't be enough to persuade daily gamers to start him tonight against the D-backs in a hitter-friendly park. Look elsewhere.
Tue, 30 Jun 2015 15:53:56 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kendrick ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) remains moderately priced on FantasyScore and continues to be a successful value pick with a .289 average (82-for-284) and six home runs and 32 RBI this year. He's not a bad click tonight in a hitter's park and against a pitcher that has been beat up by the Dodgers this year.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Carlos Frias, who is pitching against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday, June 30, has a successful road record this season. Frias is 3-2 in six road games with 23 strikeouts and 11 walks. Right-handed hitters are batting only .154 against him in road games.
Fantasy Tip: Frias ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is 5-5 with a 4.31 ERA this season, but he is more effective on the road. The Dodgers are throwing Rubby De La Rosa, who has an ERA over 12.00 against Arizona, so Frias may be worth the play in FantasyScore leagues.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 22:18:37 -0700
Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore players will likely want to see Bolsinger ($4,300; or 8.6% of cap) return and prove his stamina and strength is back before trusting him again.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 17:49:27 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The team isn't in a giant hurry for Crawford to return, and he is expected to be the fourth outfielder when he is healthy enough to play for the big club. Andre Ethier ($3,500; or 7.0% of cap) has surpassed him on the depth chart and is a better FantasyScore option at this point.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 14:22:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Niese ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) surely would gain some fantasy value heading to the National League West with a better offensive team backing him in another pitcher-friendly park. However, he'd probably still be nothing more than a matchup play in shallow mixed leagues. If Niese leaves the Mets, they'll likely go back to a normal five-man rotation, too, which would increase the fantasy values of the current rotation members.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 13:34:01 -0700
Fantasy Tip: At a modest price, Turner ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) is hard to pass up on FantasyScore. He has a nice matchup tonight in Arizona against Allen Webster, too.
