Fantasy Tip: Pederson ($5,300; or 10.6% of cap) also homered in the opener of the twin bill. He has emerged as a top-flight option in FantasyScore, and he continues to have a very cap-friendly salary, too.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Joc Pederson hit his 15th home run of the season and his second of the month Tuesday, June 2, in Game 1 of the doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies. Pederson's home run was estimated at 477 feet.
Fantasy Tip: Pederson ($5,300, 10/6% of cap) has yet to showcase his speed in terms of stolen bases, as he has just two on the season. Once he taps into that facet of his game, Pederson could quickly emerge as one of the premier fantasy outfielders in both FantasyScore and season-long formats.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Alex Guerrero is out of the lineup for Game 2 of the doubleheader Tuesday, June 2, against the Colorado Rockies. OF Chris Heisey will start in left field and bat eighth in the order.
Fantasy Tip: Heisey will likely be splitting time with Guerrero, with OF Scott Van Slyke sidelined. Guerrero is the far more appealing player on FantasyScore and in season-long leagues.

Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Alberto Callaspo is hitting sixth in the lineup and starting at third base for Game 2 of the doubleheader Tuesday, June 2, against the Colorado Rockies. 3B Justin Turner is out of the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Callaspo ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is 2-for-7 since joining the Dodgers, but he is hitting .245 against right-handed pitchers this season, compared to just .053 against lefties. Callaspo is an extremely low-risk option, and he should be used in GPP tournaments on FantasyScore.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 15:45:46 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Grandal ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) struck out in his lone plate appearance in Game 1. A switch-hitter, Grandal fares nearly equally well against lefties and righties and with an ISO of .193 on the season, he'll be an excellent option at Coors Field when he goes up against RHP David Hale.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 15:36:31 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) went 1-for-3 with a single in the first half of the doubleheader, with zero walks and zero strikeouts. Hernandez is just 2-for-8 in his last two games, with two singles and one RBI. With a full slate of games, FantasyScore owners can find better options.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Scott Van Slyke (back) isn't dealing with any major structural damage in his back after undergoing an MRI exam, according to manager Don Mattingly. Van Slyke was put on the disabled list with mid-back inflammation. He missed four games with back pain before playing over the weekend.
Fantasy Tip: With Van Slyke out, Alex Guerrero ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) should be in the lineup regularly, either in left field or somewhere in the infield. With nine home runs in 93 at-bats, Guerrero can be a fine value pick on FantasyScore in the right matchups.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 11:36:17 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig (hamstring) is currently rehabbing in Arizona and is expected to start a minor league rehab assignment later this week. Puig could come off the disabled list at some time next week.
Fantasy Tip: Puig ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) has had several setbacks in his return from a hamstring ailment, but he's close to returning again if he can get through a rehab assignment this weekend. He should go right back to being a strong option on FantasyScore when he's back. Puig's return will hurt the value of Andre Ethier ($3,500, 7.0% of cap), who has been a very effective value play against right-handed hurlers.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 10:05:37 -0700
Fantasy Tip: With Van Slyke out, Alex Guerrero ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) should continue to see regular playing time, and he's a nice value pick in the right matchups for his power stroke. Enrique Hernandez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) and Chris Heisey could see starts in utility roles.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 09:49:08 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It'll be a bullpen game for the Blue in the first game of the twin bill. Unfortunately you won't be able to stack any Rockies hitters in this early contest on FantasyScore. And in the night cap, they face the tough Zack Greinke.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 09:46:57 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers C Yasmani Grandal is not in the starting lineup against a left-handed pitcher for Game 1 of the team's doubleheader Tuesday, June 1. C Austin Barnes is starting and hitting eighth in the batting order against Colorado Rockies SP Jorge De La Rosa.
Fantasy Tip: Barnes won't be available on FantasyScore to use as a deep sleeper in Game 1 of the doubleheader.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 09:44:22 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SS Jimmy Rollins is not in the starting lineup against a left-handed pitcher in Game 1 of the team's doubleheader Tuesday, June 2. OF Enrique Hernandez is starting at the 6 and hitting seventh in the batting order against Colorado Rockies SP Jorge De La Rosa.
Fantasy Tip: Game 1 of this doubleheader won't be available on FantasyScore, so Hernandez can be ignored.
Tue, 02 Jun 2015 09:41:02 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers OF Andre Ethier is not in the starting lineup against a left-handed pitcher in Game 1 of the team's doubleheader Tuesday, June 2. OF Chris Heisey is starting in right field and hitting second in the batting order against Colorado Rockies SP Jorge De La Rosa.
Fantasy Tip: Heisey won't be available on FantasyScore for the first game of this doubleheader, and he would've been a player to avoid anyway.
Mon, 01 Jun 2015 15:59:37 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Puig ($4,900, 9.8% of cap) could go on a minor league rehab assignment soon, but his return to the team isn't imminent. Andre Ethier ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) remains a very viable value pick on FantasyScore when the team is facing a right-handed pitcher.
Mon, 01 Jun 2015 15:06:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Crawford ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) will now be out at least an additional four weeks while dealing with a torn oblique. Don't expect him to be much of a factor in the second half of the season after he returns. For now, Alex Guerrero ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) benefits the most with playing time in left field, and he certainly has the pop (nine homers in 93 at-bats) to be a value pick at FantasyScore.
