Los Angeles Dodgers SP Zack Greinke pitched seven scoreless innings against the San Diego Padres Friday, April 24, to pick up his third win of the season. Greinke struck out seven batters and walked three during the outing.
Fantasy Tip: Greinke ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) has started the 2015 season on a strong note with a 1.35 ERA over the first four games. He has struck out 21 batters in 26 2/3 innings during that span. Greinke will face the San Francisco Giants in his next start and should be a solid starting option for owners on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Puig ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) could be on the shelf for a small stretch if his hamstring injury is serious, so keep an eye on this situation. You obviously may want to go with other outfielders even if Puig plays because it is hard to tell how he will do.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig (knee) was hit in the knee by a 96 mph from San Diego Padres SP Andrew Cashner Friday, April 24, but he Puig stayed in the game after remaining on the ground for a couple of minutes.
Fantasy Tip: While it is a good sign that Puig ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) was able to stay in the game, make sure to pay close attention to his status in the coming days before using him at FantasyScore in case the knee swells up and he is forced to take a game or two off.

Fantasy Tip: Greinke ($8,100, 16.2% of cap) allowed one earned run on two hits in a home start against the Padres April 7, and he has been dominant in San Diego. If you pay up for a starter at FantasyScore Friday, make sure it's Greinke.

Los Angeles Dodgers 2B Alex Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and single in a 3-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants Thursday, April 23, and he is hitting .474 with four home runs and 12 RBIs in 19 at-bats this year.
Fantasy Tip: Although Juan Uribe ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) has returned from injury and is expected to remain the primary starter at third base, Guerrero ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has shown plenty of offensive upside. When he does start, he is a great value play at FantasyScore.

Los Angeles Dodgers RP Kenley Jansen (foot) said he will throw a bullpen session Saturday, April 25, and then throw a simulated game Tuesday, April 28. He'll go on a minor league rehab assignment after that if he doesn't have any setbacks.
Fantasy Tip: Jansen will immediately return to the Dodgers' closing role when fully healthy, especially after the Dodgers' bullpen imploded Thursday. Until Jansen's return, Joel Peralta is the Blue reliever to own in all formats for his short-term window for save opportunities.

Fantasy Tip: Ellis ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has lost considerable playing time to Yasmani Grandal to open the 2015 season, and he's not of much use to FantasyScore gamers. Ellis really is only worth owning in deep NL-only leagues at this point.

Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Juan Uribe is not in the starting lineup Thursday, April 23. 2B Alex Guerrero is starting at the hot corner and hitting seventh in the batting order against San Francisco Giants SP Ryan Vogelsong.
Fantasy Tip: Guerrero ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) hit his second pinch-hit home run of the season last night in a loss, and he has three long balls on the year, to go along with a .438 batting average (7-for-16). He has the pop to turn heads at FantasyScore, and his low price could really pay off Thursday against the struggling Vogelsong.
Thu, 23 Apr 2015 10:50:02 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Turner ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) won't turn heads in typical fantasy baseball leagues, but he should tip the scales a bit Thursday at FantasyScore as a cheap flyer. Vogelsong (0-1, 10.45 ERA, 2.81 WHIP) is off to a horrendous start to the season.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Joc Pederson is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, April 22. OF Chris Heisey, who was just called up from the minors, is starting in center field and hitting sixth in the batting order against San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner.
Fantasy Tip: Heisey will be a very cheap FantasyScore outfield option tonight against Bumgarner, but he should be avoided everywhere, especially since he hit only .205 (17-for-83) with three of his eight home runs against southpaws in 2014 with the Cincinnati Reds.
Wed, 22 Apr 2015 15:36:02 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers OF Carl Crawford is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, April 22. OF Scott Van Slyke is starting in left field and hitting fifth in the batting order against San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner.
Fantasy Tip: Van Slyke ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) surely won't be a popular daily pick tonight against Bumgarner, but he could help you get ahead of your competition at FantasyScore. Besides, Van Slyke hit .315 (34-for-108) with eight of his 11 home runs against lefties in 2014, so he's not a terrible pick. He's also 4-for-13 with four walks in his career against Bumgarner.
Wed, 22 Apr 2015 15:35:31 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers 1B Adrian Gonzalez is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, April 22. 2B Justin Turner is starting at first base and hitting second in the batting order against San Francisco Giants SP Madison Bumgarner.
Fantasy Tip: Turner ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has the benefit of hitting near the top of the Dodgers order, but he's a weak FantasyScore play tonight while facing Bumgarner, even though he's struggled so far in 2015.
Tue, 21 Apr 2015 17:27:08 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Give Puig at least one game to prove his health without any lingering effects of the injury before plugging him back into FantasyScore lineups at $5,300 (or 10.6% of cap).
Tue, 21 Apr 2015 07:52:48 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The team could be grooming the top prospect for a major league callup at third base. Seager is hitting .478 with two homers and 11 RBI in 11 games at Double-A. He needs to be owned in NL-only leagues, and he's worth watching in mixed leagues.
Mon, 20 Apr 2015 09:02:50 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder) has still not been cleared to throw off a mound as he progresses from a sore throwing shoulder. He has played some catch but hasn't moved to a long-toss routine. Ryu isn't sure when he'll get back on a mound or when he'll return to the rotation.
Fantasy Tip: Ryu ($6,400, 12.8% of cap) had been hoping to return sometime in late May, but that timetable may need to be pushed back because of his slow progress. He should continue to be stashed in NL-only and deep mixed leagues, but if you don't have the room in shallow mixed leagues, there's no reason to stay loyal at this point.
