Fantasy Tip: CL Kenley Jansen had pitched in each of the team's previous three games, so it appears he was just getting the day off. This was Johnson's first save with the Dodgers, after he notched nine with Atlanta earlier this season.

Fantasy Tip: With the win, Greinke ($9,800, 19.6% of cap) lowered his major league-leading ERA to 1.61 and showed why he is a must-start in FantasyScore every time he takes the mound. He will make his next start against Madison Bumgarner and the San Francisco Giants Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Fantasy Tip: Puig ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) may have aggravated his right hamstring injury. You'll want to check back for updates before making any hasty roster decisions, as it might have just been a precautionary exit. Adrian Gonzalez ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) is already dealing with a knee injury and is day-to-day, so there could be a new-look lineup for the Dodgers over the next few days. Carl Crawford ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) and Andre Ethier ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) are likely to see more playing time, if Puig's injury is serious.

Fantasy Tip: Be ready to be without Gonzalez ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) for a game or two, and make sure to check back for updates. He is having another reliable season with 24 home runs, 74 RBI with a .288/.361/.511 slash line. The Dodgers have a few options to fill in at first base, but Scott Van Slyke ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) projects to fill in while Gonzalez is out.

Fantasy Tip: There is potential Callaspo will catch on with another team, but there is no reason to wait and see outside of NL-only and cavernous mixed leagues. Even there, you likely should aim higher.

Fantasy Tip: Grandal ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) faces Anthony DeSclafani and is a midrange option on FantasyScore.
Wed, 26 Aug 2015 14:56:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The monumental slump that Pederson ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) has endured since the All-Star break has been supremely disappointing to his owners, and it's landed him a bench spot behind Enrique Hernandez in center field. Pederson is hitting .163 (15-for-92) with three home runs, seven RBI and 35 strikeouts since July 17. It'll be hard to trust him tomorrow in daily games, even against a hittable pitcher in Cincinnati Reds starter Anthony DeSclafani.

Fantasy Tip: Grandal ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) has been bothered by a nagging shoulder ailment of late, and his results at the plate have suffered as a result. Sitting him out tomorrow in a day game is probably the smart thing to do on FantasyScore, even though he has a nice matchup against Cincinnati Reds starter Anthony DeSclafani.
Wed, 26 Aug 2015 12:06:33 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Facing a hittable lefty like Holmberg may be one of the few times you consider using Ellis ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) as a sleeper catcher pick on FantasyScore. Ellis can also save you significant cap space for the rest of your lineup.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Andre Ethier is not in the lineup for the second straight day against a left-handed pitcher Wednesday, Aug. 26. OF Scott Van Slyke is starting in left field and hitting fifth against Cincinnati Reds SP David Holmberg.
Fantasy Tip: Holmberg presents FantasyScore users with a nice chance to stack Dodgers hitters tonight. However, Van Slyke ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) hasn't really taken advantage of his opportunities at facing southpaws this year, hitting only .230 (14-for-61) with two of his four home runs against them. He'll remain a rather mediocre daily selection.

Fantasy Tip: Urias is a player worth watching, as he has been a high strikeouts pitcher in the minor leagues. FantasyScore players could find themselves a nice bargain later in September if he gets the nod and makes a start or two at some point.
Tue, 25 Aug 2015 14:30:45 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kendrick ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) won't be back until sometime early in September, but when he's back playing, he should go right back to being an excellent value on FantasyScore as L.A.'s starting second baseman. Chase Utley ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) will likely move to some sort of utility role, which will make him tougher to rely on in deep mixed and NL-only leagues.

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Dodgers C Yasmani Grandal (shoulder) is still bothered by his sore shoulder, and he's likely to be out of the starting lineup again Wednesday, Aug. 26. However, he's not expected to land on the disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: Make sure you leave Grandal out of your daily lineups for at least the next couple of days. A.J. Ellis ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) will start in his absence, but he's not known for his bat and should be considered a low-end catching option on FantasyScore.
Tue, 25 Aug 2015 14:02:04 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Grandal ($4,000, 8.0% of cap) appears to be out of the lineup due to Lamb's presence and nothing else. Ellis ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) has a .600 average with one homer in five at-bats this past week, so if you're looking for a lower-cost catcher he may fit the bill.
Tue, 25 Aug 2015 14:01:32 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It's definitely not the ideal time to return for Latos ($5,900, 11.8% of cap) as far as his FantasyScore prospects go. The Cubbies are ranked third in OPS (.844) in the month of August. It'd be wise to look in another direction than Latos Saturday.
