Los Angeles Dodgers SP Carlos Frias, who is pitching against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday, June 30, has a successful road record this season. Frias is 3-2 in six road games with 23 strikeouts and 11 walks. Right-handed hitters are batting only .154 against him in road games.
Fantasy Tip: Frias ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is 5-5 with a 4.31 ERA this season, but he is more effective on the road. The Dodgers are throwing Rubby De La Rosa, who has an ERA over 12.00 against Arizona, so Frias may be worth the play in FantasyScore leagues.

Fantasy Tip: FantasyScore players will likely want to see Bolsinger ($4,300; or 8.6% of cap) return and prove his stamina and strength is back before trusting him again.

Fantasy Tip: The team isn't in a giant hurry for Crawford to return, and he is expected to be the fourth outfielder when he is healthy enough to play for the big club. Andre Ethier ($3,500; or 7.0% of cap) has surpassed him on the depth chart and is a better FantasyScore option at this point.

Fantasy Tip: Niese ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) surely would gain some fantasy value heading to the National League West with a better offensive team backing him in another pitcher-friendly park. However, he'd probably still be nothing more than a matchup play in shallow mixed leagues. If Niese leaves the Mets, they'll likely go back to a normal five-man rotation, too, which would increase the fantasy values of the current rotation members.

Fantasy Tip: At a modest price, Turner ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) is hard to pass up on FantasyScore. He has a nice matchup tonight in Arizona against Allen Webster, too.

Fantasy Tip: Injuries have derailed Puig's ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) season, and he hasn't been able to stay on the field long enough to develop much of a rhythm. He offers plenty of upside, but it is best to wait until he strings together a few solid games before paying his hefty salary at FantasyScore.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Zack Greinke allowed four hits and struck out six over 7 2/3 scoreless innings in a win over the Miami Marlins Sunday, June 28, and he extended his scoreless streak to 20 2/3 innings.
Fantasy Tip: Greinke ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) lowered his major league-leading ERA to 1.58, but he is actually just 1-2 over his last 10 starts thanks to terrible run support. Lack of support aside, Greinke is shutting down every lineup he faces right now, and deserves heavy consideration at FantasyScore whenever he takes the mound.

Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Justin Turner is not in the starting lineup against Miami Marlins SP Jose Urena Sunday, June 28. 3B Alberto Callaspo will start at third base and is batting seventh in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Turner ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) likely is receiving a day off and should play in the next game or two. Callaspo ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has picked up at least one hit in five of his last eight games but is not a great option for owners on FantasyScore.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 07:43:17 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Puig ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) returns to the lineup after not starting any of the last four games with a hand injury. Puig is a risky option on FantasyScore because of the injury but could be a solid option since he is hitting .323 this month.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 05:30:35 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Clayton Kershaw had his streak of 225 consecutive starts without losing three games in a row snapped Saturday, June 27, with a 3-2 loss to the Miami Marlins. Kershaw is joined by Mike Mussina, Jim Palmer and Whitey Ford as the only other pitchers to have a streak of at least 225 starts.
Fantasy Tip: Kershaw ($9,400, 18.8% of cap) has lost six games before July 1 for the first time in his career, and he's below .500 after June 1 for the first time since 2009. Kershaw owns the highest strikeout rate of his career, and his adequate 3.20 ERA is bested by his 2.11 xFIP. Kershaw hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in a game since May 21, and if he can get some run support, he'll go back to looking as dominant as ever.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig (hand) is not in the lineup against Miami Marlins SP Tom Koehler Saturday, June 27. OF Andre Ethier, who normally plays left field, will bat fifth and play right field. OF Enrique Hernandez will get the start in left field and bat seventh.
Fantasy Tip: It is unknown when Puig ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) will be able to return to action. Following a hot start to the season, Ethier ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is only batting .197 during the month of June and should be avoided in FantasyScore until he turns things around. Hernandez ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is batting .256 with three homers and eight RBIs in 86 at-bats and is a viable option for owners who need salary cap relief.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Brett Anderson struck out 10 batters through seven innings while allowing a single run on five hits and a walk during the Dodgers 7-1 win over the Miami Marlins Friday, June 26. Anderson earned his fourth victory of the season in the outing.
Fantasy Tip: Anderson's ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) 89 innings this season are the most he has pitched in one year since the 2010 campaign. He sports respectable ratios (3.13 ERA, 1.29 WHIP), but his win (four) and strikeout (62) columns leave a lot to be desired. He currently should be viewed as a low-end option in mixed leagues and a matchup play at FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Grandal ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) has been giving way to Ellis ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) regularly against left-handed pitchers lately, so it is something to note and look out for going forward. Ellis projects as a low-priced flier for FantasyScore players Friday, and the cap relief he provides will likely be his best attribute.
Fri, 26 Jun 2015 14:51:14 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Either ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) has just 25 plate appearances over 20 games against lefties this season, so his lineup absence shouldn't be a surprise. Van Slyke ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) is a nice upside target for FantasyScore players Friday. He has a .865 OPS against southpaws this season, and he is hitting in the heart of the order.
Fri, 26 Jun 2015 12:25:39 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kendrick ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) hit a two-run double Thursday, June 25, and fantasy owners should hope it'll kick-start his offense. He was struggling through a 12-game RBI drought prior with just 3 runs and a .200/.216/.220 slash line. At this point, he is nothing more than a flier for FantasyScore contests, albeit one with upside and the handedness advantage Friday.
