Fantasy Tip: Turner ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is riding a 13-for-35 run with six runs, four home runs, 10 RBI and a .371/.421/.829 slash line. At his cap hit, and hitting in a prime RBI spot in the lineup, it is tough to find better value. FantasyScore players -- and seasonal players in deep leagues -- should take note of Turner. It isn't out of the question for him to slowly take over the majority of starts at third base from 36-year-old Juan Uribe.

Fantasy Tip: Ellis ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is a desperation source of cap relief for FantasyScore players Wednesday. He has received just 25 plate appearances with Yasmani Grandal ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) making the majority of starts behind the plate. Make sure to avoid Grandal in daily contests Wednesday.

Fantasy Tip: Van Slyke ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) is six at-bats removed from a solid 13-for-30 run, and he stands as a nice low-priced flier for FantasyScore players. However, he isn't without risk. Van Slyke appears to be in a platoon with Alex Guerreo ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) in left field while Yasiel Puig is recovering from a hamstring injury.

Los Angeles Dodgers RP Kenley Jansen (foot) allowed two hits, a walk, a home run and three runs while striking out two in 25 pitches in a rehab outing Wednesday, May 6. He will make another rehab outing Thursday, May 7.
Fantasy Tip: Jansen is close to returning to the Dodgers after maybe a few more rehab outings in the minors. The results aren't as important as the health of his foot, and he appears to be fine. Once he's ready, he should immediately return to a closing role for the Blue. Yimi Garcia, who has seen some save opportunities in Jansen's absence could still be a valuable relief asset for his strikeouts in very deep mixed and NL-only leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Puig is still a couple of weeks away, and Andre Ethier ($2,700, 5.4% of your cap) is a matchup play on FantasyScore in the interim.

Los Angeles Dodgers RP Kenley Jansen (foot) was given the day off Tuesday, May 5. He is scheduled to throw back-to-back minor-league rehab games for Class A Rancho Cucamonga Wednesday, May 6, and Thursday, May 7.
Fantasy Tip: Jansen is rounding the third and heading home in his rehab, although he will not be used to close games immediately upon his return. Fantasy owners need to keep being patient, although he is worth scooping up in all standard fantasy leagues if still on the waiver wire.

Los Angeles Dodgers 3B Juan Uribe is not in the starting lineup Tuesday, May 5. 2B Justin Turner is starting at third base and hitting fifth in the batting order against Milwaukee Brewers SP Matt Garza.
Fantasy Tip: Turner ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is hitting .293 (12-for-41) on the year with three home runs and six RBI, including three home runs in his last five games. Turner is hot, but he's still largely a dice roll at FantasyScore as a cheap second base alternative.
Tue, 05 May 2015 13:53:26 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Wieland will be a low-priced FantasyScore commodity that should be avoided in his first start Wednesday against the Milwaukee Brewers. However, he could become a matchup play, especially pitching his home games in a pitcher-friendly park. Wieland has a chance to stick in a rotation spot due to the Dodgers' starting pitching injury woes.
Mon, 04 May 2015 22:56:06 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Zack Greinke is scheduled to start Tuesday, May 5, against the Milwaukee Brewers. He is 0-2 with a 4.76 ERA in four starts against the Brewers since leading Milwaukee to the National League Championship Series in 2011. He is 15-2 in his career at Miller Park.
Fantasy Tip: Greinke is a solid play at $8,600 (or 17.2% of cap) in FantasyScore due to his dominance at Miller Park over the year, and the fact the Brewers have been terrible this season.
Mon, 04 May 2015 17:03:03 -0700
Los Angeles Dodgers SP Hyun-Jin Ryu (shoulder) was moved to the 60-day disabled list Monday, May 4, but manager Don Mattingly said Ryu didn't have a setback. Ryu has been out since spring training with a left shoulder impingement. He'll throw to hitters later this week, but the team doesn't expect him back before early June.
Fantasy Tip: With Ryu out until at least early June, Carlos Frias ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) has jumped into the starting rotation and will make another start this week. Frias could stick in the rotation long term if he continues to pitch well, which would make him ownable in NL-only and deep mixed leagues if you need rotation help. Only play him in the right matchups as a cheap FantasyScore option.
Mon, 04 May 2015 14:39:38 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Continue to stash Ryu ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) in a DL roster slot in the majority of formats and continue to check back for updates on his progress. Ryu pitches for a solid ball team, and over 344 innings in his career, he has a respectable 3.17 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 7.7 K/9.
Mon, 04 May 2015 14:38:46 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Not only do Rollins ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) and Uribe ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) have bad numbers against Lohse, but both players haven't gotten off to strong starts in 2015. They're both weak plays tonight at FantasyScore.
Mon, 04 May 2015 14:33:43 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It makes perfect sense to pay up for Gonzalez ($5,600, 11.2% of cap) at FantasyScore tonight.
Mon, 04 May 2015 12:44:09 -0700
Fantasy Tip: When given an opportunity, Van Slyke ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) has played extremely well this season. He has gone 13-for-34 (.382 batting average) with five runs and nine RBI. Opposing starter Kyle Lohse has allowed fewer than four runs in just one of five starts this season, so Van Slyke projects as a solid low-price play for FantasyScore contests Monday.
Mon, 04 May 2015 12:33:00 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid Lind ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) in daily contests Monday. The Brewers are facing southpaw Clayton Kershaw, so it is a good time to give left-handed hitting Lind a night off. Rogers ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) cannot be started with confidence in FantasyScore contests against Kershaw, either.
