Fantasy Tip: Kershaw ($9,900, 19.8% of cap) is, without a doubt, the top pitcher in baseball and will be gone with the first pick in most drafts next March.

Fantasy Tip: Guerrero ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is 9-for-26 (.346) with five RBIs since Sept. 1, following a dismal July and August. However, he has only homered once since the All-Star break and is just batting .179 at Dodger Stadium this season, so he is a somewhat risky FantasyScore play.

Fantasy Tip: Jansen didn't make his season debut until May 15, so a full season of work would have had him in contention for the league lead in saves. He checks out as a top-tier closer for the 2016 season. Just note, it is rare for closers to remain elite for multiple season.

Los Angeles Dodgers SP Zack Greinke allowed one run on four hits and a walk while striking out eight batters during the Dodgers' 2-1 win over the San Diego Padres Saturday, Oct. 3. Greinke finished the season with a league-best 1.66 ERA among qualified pitchers.
Fantasy Tip: Greinke ($9,800, 19.6% of cap) returned a top-three showing among his peers this season, and has been lights out since joining the Dodgers. The fantasy ace owns a 51-15 record with a 2.30 ERA, a 1.03 WHIP and a 8.3 K/9 through 92 starts with Los Angeles.

Fantasy Tip: J-Roll ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) has hit .303 against lefties this year as he takes on lefty Robbie Erlin. He doesn't have a lot of upside, but he's a low-end target on FantasyScore.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Joc Pederson and OF Andre Ethier are out of the lineup Saturday, Oct. 3, against a left-handed starter. OF Enrique Hernandez is leading off, and OF Justin Ruggiano is hitting fifth.
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is a great start against lefty Robbie Erlin as he has a .427-4-16 split against lefties. Ruggiano ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) hits lefties to a .309-5-11 clip this year, and he's a low-end flyer on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Puig ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) faces lefty Robbie Erlin and hits lefties pretty well. He's at a nice price if you want to plug him in your FantasyScore lineups.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 17:07:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is batting .362 with four home runs and 12 RBIs in 94 at-bats since the All-Star break. He's worthy of consideration as a FantasyScore value play this evening.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 17:07:13 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Ellis ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) is batting just .232 since Sept. 1, and is not a great FantasyScore catching option tonight.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 17:06:16 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Turner ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) was sidelined for several days with a swollen forearm caused by getting hit with a pitch. FantasyScore owners should see how he performs in his first game back before considering him for future lineups.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 14:42:01 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Myers ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) left the game Thursday, Oct. 1, because of soreness in his left wrist, which is the same wrist he had surgically repaired in June, and he missed several games due to wrist soreness last week. Myers is a desperation start/own in all fantasy formats at this stage of the season. Decker ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has just six career plate appearances and is nothing more than a desperation source of cap relief at FantasyScore Friday.
Fri, 02 Oct 2015 14:32:09 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid Upton ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) in all fantasy formats Friday, and he is a risky own through the end of the season with his status unknown. FantasyScore players should fade Amarista ($2,900, 5.8% of cap), too, as he owns a .595 OPS over the past three seasons.

Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig (hamstring) has made a "miraculous" recovery from his hamstring issues, but it's uncertain if the Dodgers will put him on their playoff roster for the division series against the New York Mets next week. Los Angeles is 38-32 when he's in the lineup and 51-38 without him, and some players privately have said they would prefer if he doesn't return. OF Andre Ethier has started most of the games in right field in Puig's absence and has hit .297 with 14 home runs and 52 RBI. Manager Don Mattingly said the team will evaluate if Puig can be used as a pinch hitter.
Fantasy Tip: Even if Puig ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) does make the postseason roster, it's unlikely that he'll be used as anything other than a pinch hitter or pinch runner, which would make him unusable on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Anderson ($6,300, 12.6% of cap) set career highs in games started (31) and innings pitched (180 1/3) this year and ended the regular season on a high note, after having allowed 11 runs over 8 2/3 innings in his previous two outings. His inconsistency makes him a somewhat risky play in FantasyScore.

Updating a previous report, Los Angeles Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig' (hamstring) status for the National League division series is unknown at this point, according to manager Don Mattingly. Puig ran at full speed Thursday, Oct. 1, and is scheduled to play four innings in the outfield during an instructional league game in Arizona.
Fantasy Tip: Seasonal owners can continue to ignore Puig. Injuries have been an issue for the outfielder throughout his early career, and his 2016 draft stock will likely be quite polarizing. The talent is undeniable, but Puig's .256/.324/.440 slash line through 306 plate appearances this season hardly matches it.
