Fantasy Tip: Yelich ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) returned to the lineup Tuesday, Sept. 1, after missing time with a knee injury. He is now 6-for-10 with four runs, three doubles and an RBI since rejoining the Fish. Yelich is worth a roster spot in all deep mixed leagues, and a strong finish isn't out of the question. Looking ahead to 2016, Yelich projects as a potential post-hype, bounce-back target in the later middle rounds of drafts.

Fantasy Tip: Ozuna ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) has begun to string together a few nice games, and the home run Wednesday was his fourth since being recalled from the minor leagues Saturday, Aug. 15. Ozuna is worth a look in deep mixed leagues, but you'll want to avoid him at FantasyScore outside of ripe matchups.

Fantasy Tip: This minor injury shouldn't keep Hechavarria ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) out for too long, but keeping him out of your FantasyScore lineups for the next several days may be the smartest move.

Fantasy Tip: It's unknown how serious Hechavarria's ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) injury is, so stay tuned. A serious ailment could knock him out for the rest of the season at this point. If he needs to miss significant time, Rojas ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is the candidate to move into an everyday role.

Fantasy Tip: The matchup is a tasty one, but Mathis ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) remains an unattractive FantasyScore option. He's batting only .114 (8-for-70) with no home runs on the season.
Wed, 02 Sep 2015 07:16:33 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Christian Yelich ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) came back and is manning left field every day, which pushed Dietrich to the bench. Yelich is hitting second against Williams Perez and is a good start on FantasyScore.
Tue, 01 Sep 2015 17:56:33 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Keep away from Stanton ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) until he can officially return and prove his health in back-to-back games. It might take a while for him to knock off the rust after his layoff, too.

Fantasy Tip: Righty Miami sticks against Banuelos, who is returning from the DL tonight, could be sneaky plays on FantasyScore tonight. Gillespie ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) qualifies, and he's hitting a cool .394/.432/.485 with a .917 OPS against left-handers this season.
Tue, 01 Sep 2015 13:24:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Yelich ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) is a risk/reward play on FantasyScore tonight against a left-handed starter. He's hitting just .250 (24-for-96) with one of his six homers against southpaws, but Banuelos is making his first start since coming off the DL and could be shaky.
Mon, 31 Aug 2015 23:52:58 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Stanton ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) could be back with the parent club soon depending on how well his hand fares in rehab and how well he hits, but the team could still bring him along slowly.

Miami Marlins SP Chris Narveson made his second start since 2012 on Monday, Aug. 31, and he allowed two hits, two walks and struck out three in 5 1/3 innings. He left the game with a blister on his left middle index finger but picked up the win as Miami prevailed 4-0 over the Atlanta Braves.
Fantasy Tip: Narveson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) looked like he was on a roll, but now you have to wonder how he will be moving forward. Keep an eye on how bad the blister is, as blisters can impact pitching performance.
Mon, 31 Aug 2015 18:47:18 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Narveson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) recorded 5 1/3 scoreless inning before dipping out. He could serve as a cheap FantasyScore option if he can return sooner rather than later.

Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid Ozuna ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) in all fantasy formats Monday. He has shown flashes since being recalled from the minors Saturday, Aug. 15, but really it has been more of the same disappointment, as Ozuna owns a .237/.250/.475 slash line. Gillespie ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) has a .358/.414/.453 line over his past 58 plate appearances, so while he is in fine form, he is worth a look at FantasyScore as a low-priced flier.
Sun, 30 Aug 2015 14:35:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Yelich ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) may have wanted to test out his knee a little, so the fact he could hit was encouraging. Keep an eye on the situation.
Sun, 30 Aug 2015 09:31:58 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Realmuto ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) should be back in the lineup for the team's next game. Mathis ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) should not be a starting option in any fantasy league.
