Fantasy Tip: Ynoa ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) has 20 hits in 85 at-bats (.235) this year, and he's hitting only .118 (4-for-34) with one RBI on the road in 2015. That should make you want to avoid him at all costs, especially since this start will come in the pitching-friendly O.co Coliseum.

Fantasy Tip: Descalso ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) isn't worth your time on FantasyScore. He's batting only .220 (20-for-91) on the year with two home runs and 13 RBI.

Colorado Rockies RP John Axford was placed on the family medical emergency list Tuesday, June 30, for the second time this season. However, Axford's son, who was recovering from a rattlesnake bite in spring training, is fine this time. In Axford's absence, the team will use a closer-by-committee approach, with RP LaTroy Hawkins among the candidates to record saves. RPs Scott Oberg and Tommy Kahnle will also be options.
Fantasy Tip: Hawkins is the most experienced reliever for the Rockies and recorded 23 saves for the team in 2014. He also successfully recorded his second save of the season in a clean inning Tuesday night over the Oakland Athletics. He should be your first target if you're searching for saves or own Axford. It's unknown when Axford will be returning, so this could be an extended chance for save opportunities for Hawkins and the others.

Colorado Rockies RP John Axford was placed on the temporary inactive list Tuesday, June 30. Manager Walt Weiss said Tuesday, June 30, that Axford's son, who was bitten by a rattlesnake in spring training, is fine. The pitcher "just has things to take care of at home."
Fantasy Tip: With Axford away from the team, if a save situation arises look for former closer LaTroy Hawkins or perhaps Boone Logan to get a look in the ninth inning.

Fantasy Tip: McKenry ($2,600, 5.2% of cap) gets a break by not having to face A's ace Sonny Gray tonight, but he's still a weaker catching play on FantasyScore while playing away from Coors Field. He's hitting only .154 (6-for-39) on the road in 2015.

Fantasy Tip: LeMahieu's ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) fantasy value is largely dependent on his average, and a high average on balls in play was carrying him early this year. He hasn't been so fortunate lately, going 29-for-112 (.259) in June with one home run and eight RBI. He doesn't have much power, either, limiting his fantasy upside. Hitting at the bottom of the order further depletes his weakening profile. Stay away from him Tuesday night at a pitcher-friendly park on top of all of that.

Colorado Rockies SP Jorge De La Rosa (finger) will make his scheduled start Tuesday, June 30, against the Oakland Athletics. De La Rosa left his previous start after five innings with a cut on his middle finger.
Fantasy Tip: De La Rosa ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) has a difficult matchup going against A's ace Sonny Gray. The A's have scored well at home and don't strike out a lot, but they do struggle against left-handed pitching. O.co Coliseum is one of the better pitchers parks in baseball, too. He comes at an affordable price with a considerable amount of risk.

Fantasy Tip: Tulowitzki ($5,000; or 10.0% of cap) has hit safely in 13 straight games, going 20-for-51 (.392) with nine runs scored, a homer and eight RBIs during the impressive run. Needless to say, he remains a must-start FantasyScore value regardless of price.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 22:50:31 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Arenado ($6,100; or 12.2% of cap) has been on fire lately, especially in the power categories. Keep rolling with him in FantasyScore until he cools off significantly.

Colorado Rockies C Wilin Rosario is serving as the designated hitter and batting sixth against Oakland Athletics SP Kendall Graveman Monday, June 29. 1B Ben Paulsen is starting at first base and hitting seventh.
Fantasy Tip: Rosario ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) and Paulsen ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) are both much less attractive on FantasyScore away from Coors Field. Rosario is hitting only .220 (13-for-59) with two home runs and five RBI, while Paulsen only has two of his five home runs on the road. It doesn't help that they're playing at pitcher-friendly O.co Coliseum tonight, either.
Mon, 29 Jun 2015 13:43:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It's just another indication that Arenado ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) is quickly transitioning to an elite fantasy level as a third baseman. He should be a daily consideration for your lineups on FantasyScore, although playing at pitcher-friendly O.co Coliseum this week lowers his value a tad.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 12:26:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hundley ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) is 8-for-16 over the past week and is a career .280 hitter against Bumgarner in 25 at-bats. He's worthy of consideration for your FantasyScore lineup.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 12:16:43 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Blackmon ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) should be removed from all fantasy lineups. Barnes ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) is 5-for-19 in his career against Bumgarner and could be viewed as a means of productive salary cap relief in FantasyScore.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 11:47:44 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Ynoa ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) is only batting .154 during the month of June and has never faced Bumgarner in his career. Avoid using him in FantasyScore today.
Sat, 27 Jun 2015 12:44:28 -0700
Fantasy Tip: McKenry ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) hasn't done a whole lot in recent games, totaling just two hits in his last 23 at-bats. He's not the best starting option at catcher today, but he will provide FantasyScore players more money to spend at other positions.
