Fantasy Tip: Bauer ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) was starting in place of Danny Salazar, who. was scratched because of an illness. It was his second consecutive quality start following a stretch where he had allowed 15 runs in 11 1/3 innings over a three-game span.

Fantasy Tip: No timetable has been established for Johnson's ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) return. Although he is not expected to be an everyday player once he comes back, he should see ample playing time at first base, third base and in the outfield, so he's worth rostering in deep mixed fantasy formats.

Fantasy Tip: Raburn ($3,200, 6.4% of cap) is hitting .299 with five home runs and 20 RBI against left-handed pitchers this season and could be a cheaper option for owners on FantasyScore to consider.

Cleveland Indians OF Abraham Almonte is not in the starting lineup against Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Andrew Heaney Friday, Aug. 28. SS Mike Aviles will start in center field and is batting ninth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Almonte ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) likely will return to the starting lineup in the next game or two. Aviles ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) is hitting only .209 this month and is not a strong candidate on FantasyScore.

Cleveland Indians 3B Lonnie Chisenhall is not in the starting lineup against Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim SP Andrew Heaney Friday, Aug. 28. OF Jerry Sands will start in right field and is batting seventh in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Chisenhall ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) is sitting out because the team is facing a left-handed pitcher. Sands ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has only two hits in his last seven games and is not a great option for owners on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Bauer ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) will have a home matchup against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Bauer is 1-5 with a 6.23 ERA since the All-Star break and isn't a good option on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Chisenhall ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) is 11-for-25 (.440) with four runs scored, a home run and seven RBIs during his current eight-game hitting streak. He is an outstanding FantasyScore option at a mid-level price.
Wed, 26 Aug 2015 20:43:44 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lindor ($4,800, 9.6% of cap) has been doing a little bit of everything lately, hitting .387 (36-for-93) with six doubles, two homers, 11 RBIs and four steals in the month of August. At this price level he is a great play.
Wed, 26 Aug 2015 20:39:07 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Kipnis ($4,600, 9.2% of cap) leads the American League with a .325 average, helped in large part by his production at home. He is hitting a robust .383 with 23 doubles, four triples and five home runs while driving in 28 runs at Progressive Field. He entered the game with a home OPS of 1.062. Needless to say, he is a great mid-level start when he is playing at home.
Wed, 26 Aug 2015 11:54:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Sands ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is a low-end outfield option in daily games tonight, as he's batting only .143 (5-for-35) with a homer and six RBI against right-handed pitchers this season.
Wed, 26 Aug 2015 11:49:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Nelson has been quite good in the second half for the Brewers, and Ramirez ($2,900, 5.8% of cap) doesn't have much to show at the plate this season, with a .204 average (47-for-230) with only two home runs and 16 RBI. Look elsewhere on FantasyScore.

Cleveland Indians SP Carlos Carrasco (shoulder) has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation. SP Cody Anderson will fill in for Carrasco until his expected return on Sept. 6.
Fantasy Tip: Carrasco ($8,000, 16.0% of cap) has had a good season and is an elite strikeout pitcher in daily leagues. At that price, it's best to see how he performs when he returns before selecting him on FantasyScore. There are better alternatives to his replacement, Cody Anderson, who is in his first start after returning from a stint on the disabled list.

Fantasy Tip: It's been a lost season for Floyd, and it's uncertain how much he'll be able to help FantasyScore players if he is able to return in September.
Tue, 25 Aug 2015 18:48:38 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Anderson ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) is being rushed back, as initially he was supposed to make a minor-league rehab start Monday. He likely will have a pitch restriction, so FantasyScore players will want to be very wary of using him.

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Indians SP Carlos Carrasco (shoulder) could land on the disabled list as early as Wednesday, Aug. 26, even though his MRI exam didn't show any structural damage. Carrasco will be examined again Tuesday night. He may also need a cortisone shot, and the Indians want to be careful with their most consistent starter this year.
Fantasy Tip: Unfortunately for owners of Carrasco ($8,000, 16.0% of cap), the Indians have no reason to rush him back since they aren't playing for a postseason spot this year. It could be a big loss down the stretch, but he could return to make a handful of starts. Hang onto Carrasco in all formats for the time being.
