Fantasy Tip: Frazier ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) is showing that his breakout 2014 was no fluke, and he already has 16 home runs and 31 RBI after hitting 29 long balls last year. Frazier will continue to be a popular and strong selection on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: If Cueto ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) suffers a setback and is unable to pitch Tuesday, manager Bryan Price said Mike Leake ($4,700, 9.4% of cap) would move up his next scheduled start by one day. Even though the Phils' offense is not intimidating, it would make sense to avoid using Cueto in FantasyScore in his first start back from injury.

Fantasy Tip: Pena ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has been the regular catcher and is probably receiving a day off. Barnhart ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) hit a home run in his last start and is batting .250 in limited playing time this season, but owners on FantasyScore should be able to find a better option.

Fantasy Tip: Schumaker ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has picked up four hits in his last seven games and is hitting .270 this month. Schumaker is one of the cheaper players available on FantasyScore, but owners should be able to find better options to use.

Fantasy Tip: Byrd ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) likely is receiving a day off after playing in each of the last six games. Skip Schumaker ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is taking his place in the lineup but is not a great option on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Hamilton ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) has struggled to reach base all year, but he is starting to show signs of life at the plate. He has also scored a run and stolen a base in each of the last three games. His speed gives him solid upside at FantasyScore, and now isn't a bad time to gamble on him since he is hitting for a change.

Cincinnati Reds 1B Joey Votto went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBIs and two runs scored in an 8-5 win over the Washington Nationals Saturday, May 30, and he is 3-for-7 with two home runs, three RBIs and three runs scored over his past two games.
Fantasy Tip: Votto ($5,400, 10.8% of cap) had been ice cold this month, and he had zero home runs and just four RBIs prior to his last two games. He isn't entering must-start territory yet at FantasyScore, but he should no longer be considered off limits either.

Fantasy Tip: Dating back to last year, 30 of his 44 homers have come at home, and considering he plays home games in one of more hitter-friendly parks, it should come as no surprise that Frazier ($5,700, 11.4% of cap) is a more valuable FantasyScore commodity when playing at Great American Ball Park.

Cincinnati Reds SP Johnny Cueto (elbow) remains out with inflammation in his right elbow, and manager Bryan Price said the earliest Cueto would return would be during a series against the Philadelphia Phillies next week. Cueto has now missed two turns through the rotation.
Fantasy Tip: Cueto ($8,900, 17.8% of cap) could be a risky commodity at FantasyScore even if he returns to face the offensively inept Phillies next week after missing his last two starts. Tread carefully and continue to monitor his progress.

Cincinnati Reds SP Jason Marquis is being moved from the starting rotation to the bullpen after going 3-4 with a 6.46 ERA in nine starts this year. He allowed four runs and 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings in a loss to the Colorado Rockies Monday, May 25.
Fantasy Tip: The move of Marquis to the bullpen is expected to open up a rotation spot for Raisel Iglesias ($3,700, 7.4% of cap), who gave up just two earned runs in three innings in a loss to the Cleveland Indians Sunday. Give Iglesias more time to build up his innings before trusting him at FantasyScore. He's strictly an NL-only arm for now.
Fri, 29 May 2015 12:40:40 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Phillips ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) has not been in the starting lineup for three straight games, so owners should monitor the situation. Schumaker ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is batting .242 this month, but owners on FantasyScore should be able to find better options.
Fri, 29 May 2015 12:27:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Cozart ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) has been on a bit of a cold streak with only two hits in his last eight games. Owners on FantasyScore may want to look for other options to use in their lineups.
Thu, 28 May 2015 19:09:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bruce ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) has five multi-hit games during the same stretch and is striking out less. He still isn't producing enough to demand you attention at FantasyScore, but he could be a nice buy-low candidate in seasonal leagues.
Wed, 27 May 2015 09:19:36 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Barnhart ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is a very weak FantasyScore catching option, even against Kendrick, who is 0-3 with a 13 earned runs in 25 1/3 innings in his four starts in May.
Wed, 27 May 2015 07:16:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Through 114 career at-bats, Ynoa ($2,500, 5.0% of cap) sports a .325 batting average and 11 runs and 17 RBI. Hitting in front of the team's top three hitters is plus-spot in the lineup, and Ynoa is worth considering as a low-priced flier for FantasyScore contests Wednesday.
