Fantasy Tip: Davis ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) makes for a nice upside play in FantasyScore contests Sunday. He owned lefties last season with a .356/.382/.557 slash line, however opposing starter Jose Quintana is an above-average starter. Keep Davis in mind if you're chasing cap relief for your daily lineups.

Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale has a 2.84 ERA with 106 strikeouts in 92 innings in his career against the Detroit Tigers, who he faces Saturday, April 18. Tigers are hitting .220 against him, but he is only 5-5 against the Tigers.
Fantasy Tip: While Sale ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) is typically a dynamite option at FantasyScore every time he toes the rubber, it might be hard to justify paying up for him tomorrow while going up against the hot Tigers offense.
Fri, 17 Apr 2015 10:21:58 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Bonifacio ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) is a bit too expensive for our taste at FantasyScore, especially since he has just four at-bats this season and will be hitting out of the nine hole against Price.
Fri, 17 Apr 2015 09:19:22 -0700
Chicago White Sox C Tyler Flowers is not in the starting lineup Friday, April 17. C Geovany Soto draws the start behind the dish again and is hitting eighth in the batting order against Detroit Tigers SP David Price.
Fantasy Tip: Soto ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) already has one home run in just eight at-bats in 2015, but a matchup against Price isn't what the doctor ordered for those looking at him as a cheap catching option today at FantasyScore.

Chicago White Sox 3B Conor Gillaspie is not in the starting lineup Friday, April 17. 2B Gordon Beckham is starting at third base and hitting seventh in the batting order against Detroit Tigers SP David Price.
Fantasy Tip: Beckham ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is just 3-for-24 with four strikeouts in his career against Price, making him a weaker second base option at FantasyScore today.
Thu, 16 Apr 2015 21:32:36 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Samardzija ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) is off to a slow start, and he brings a 6.23 ERA into a tough matchup with a Tigers offense that ranks in the top three in runs scored, batting average and slugging percentage. It is best to avoid Samardzija at FantasyScore.

Chicago White Sox C Tyler Flowers is receiving the day off against Cleveland Indians SP Trevor Bauer Wednesday, April 15. C Geovany Soto is starting behind the dish and hitting eighth in the batting order.
Fantasy Tip: Soto ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is surely a cheap catching alternative at FantasyScore today. However, he hit just .239 with one home run against right-handers in 2014, and he should be considered a weak daily play.
Wed, 15 Apr 2015 08:14:13 -0700
Chicago White Sox OF Avisail Garcia is not in the starting lineup against Cleveland Indians SP Trevor Bauer Wednesday, April 15. OF J.B. Shuck is starting in right field and hitting seventh in the order.
Fantasy Tip: Shuck ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) isn't a recommended play at FantasyScore Wednesday against Bauer, who looked dominant in his season debut last week.
Tue, 14 Apr 2015 13:35:30 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Johnson ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) is getting a night off against Indians SP Carlos Carrasco. Emilio Bonifacio ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) is in the lineup and is a source of steals if he can get on, but he is not a recommended option. Other 2B like Toronto's Devon Travis ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) and Kansas City's Omar Infante ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) may be better.
Sun, 12 Apr 2015 14:25:02 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Sale ($8,400, 16.8% of cap) was facing the Minnesota Twins, so that's not a big reason to get excited. Still, this was Sale's first start following the foot issue that dogged him through spring training, and it was a good one. This should soothe Sale owners moving forward.
Sun, 12 Apr 2015 05:35:24 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rodon is fine-tuning an off-speed pitch in the minors, but he isn't expected to stay down long. The White Sox are currently trotting John Danks and Hector Noesi to the mound as their fourth and fifth starter, respectively, and neither has the arm and upside of Rodon. Rodon should be owned in the majority of formats. Continue to check back for updates on his pending recall to the South Side.
Sat, 11 Apr 2015 04:57:37 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Samardzija ($7,400, 14.8% of cap) did not look good in the season opener against the Kansas City Royals, but he beat the Twins the only time he faced them last season. With Minnesota's offense sputtering, this is worth the price.
Fri, 10 Apr 2015 10:45:18 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Beckham ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is worth a look as a very cheap FantasyScore option at second base today. He hit a respectable .293 with two home runs in 116 at-bats against left-handed pitchers in 2014.
Wed, 08 Apr 2015 15:39:03 -0700
Fantasy Tip: A lot can change before Sunday, however the good news is Sale will return to the hill soon. The Tigers present a difficult matchup, and at Sale's ($8,200, 16.4% of cap) price, it might not be the best time to utilize the lefty in FantasyScore contests. In seasonal formats, there is far less risk.
Wed, 08 Apr 2015 14:04:12 -0700
Chicago White Sox 2B Micah Johnson is not in the starting lineup against the Kansas City Royals Wednesday, April 8. 2B Carlos Sanchez is starting at the keystone and batting ninth in Johnson's absence.
Fantasy Tip: This has the potential to be a platoon situation, which would severely hinder Johnson's ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) seasonal value. However, any boost you receive from Johnson outside of stolen bases should really be consider a bonus. With so many games on the docket Wednesday, FantasyScore players should aim higher than Sanchez ($2,000, 4.0% of cap).
