Chicago White Sox SP Chris Beck will come up from Class AAA Charlotte to start the second game of a doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles Thursday, May 28. He is 3-2 with a 3.30 ERA in eight starts in the minors.
Fantasy Tip: Since it'll be the second game of the doubleheader, Beck won't be available at FantasyScore tomorrow.

Chicago White Sox SP Jeff Samardzija allowed just one unearned run and eight hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday, May 27. He walked one and struck out five while throwing 78 of his 114 pitches for strikes.
Fantasy Tip: Samardzija ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) has allowed just five earned runs in his last 23 innings pitched, after struggling to open the season with his new squad. He's not allowing many home runs at home, either, which is a positive development. He could continue to be overlooked at FantasyScore, and in the right matchups, he's a fine daily option.

Chicago White Sox RP David Robertson blew his second save in consecutive days against the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday, May 27, but this time recorded the win. He once again allowed a home run to Blue Jays 3B Josh Donaldson and gave up two hits and an earned run while walking one and striking out two in two innings. His ERA is now up to 2.61 on the season.
Fantasy Tip: Despite back-to-back blown saves, Robertson remains firmly entrenched as the club's closer. However, if things continue to snowball for Robertson, Zach Putnam may be worth a look for saves speculators. Expect Robertson to be rested tomorrow after pitching two-plus innings the last two days.

Chicago White Sox 3B Conor Gillaspie is not in the starting lineup Wednesday, May 27. 2B Gordon Beckham is starting at the hot corner and hitting seventh in the batting order against Toronto Blue Jays SP Marco Estrada.
Fantasy Tip: Beckham ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is seeing more and more starts at third base in place of Gillaspie lately. He doesn't have a ton of offensive upside, though, although he could pay off as a deep sleeper today against Estrada, who has really struggled in his transition from the bullpen to the starting rotation.

Chicago White Sox OF Avisail Garcia (knee) is expected to miss the series finale against the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday, May 27. Garcia left the game in the second inning Monday, May 25, and did not play Tuesday, May 26, either. Manager Robin Ventura said it would be highly unlikely Garcia will play before Chicago's doubleheader against the Baltimore Orioles Thursday, May 28.
Fantasy Tip: J.B. Shuck ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has been filling in for Garcia ($4,500, 9.0% of cap), and Shuck is a viable low-priced flier for FantasyScore players, however, cap relief might be his best asset and expectations should be kept in check. Shuck has just 45 plate appearances this season, after all.
Tue, 26 May 2015 21:50:47 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Abreu ($5,300, 10.6% of cap) has posted solid numbers so far this season and has at least one hit in 19 of his last 21 games. Abreu could be a solid starting option for owners on FantasyScore most nights.

Chicago White Sox 2B Gordon Beckham will get the start at third base Tuesday, May 26, against the Toronto Blue Jays. Beckham will be hitting seventh in the order. 3B Conor Gillaspie is out of the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Beckham ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has not had a multi-hit game since May 13, when he also hit his lone home run of the season. FantasyScore owners can do better, even at the thin second base position.
Tue, 26 May 2015 15:14:43 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Shuck ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) is a cheap play with plenty of upside as he goes up against the knuckle ball-throwing R.A. Dickey of the Blue Jays. Shuck could be in line for several starts with Avisail Garcia listed as day-to-day, and FantasyScore owners can use Shuck in GPP tournaments.
Tue, 26 May 2015 14:47:13 -0700
Chicago White Sox OF Avisail Garcia (knee) remains out of the starting lineup Tuesday, May 26, and he'll likely be out again Wednesday, May 27. However, manager Robin Ventura doesn't think the injury will require Garcia to go on the disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: With Garcia hurting, J.B. Shuck ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) continues to see starts in the outfield. He's merely a deep sleeper option at FantasyScore, but he'll save you plenty of valuable loot to fill out the rest of your lineup.
Tue, 26 May 2015 14:32:46 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rodon ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) had his last start skipped in order to preserve his innings for the long run. Against the Astros, who rank second in all of baseball with 427 strikeouts, Rodon will be a risk/reward option at FantasyScore. He'll be attractive because of his high-strikeout upside.
Mon, 25 May 2015 17:38:24 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Garcia ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) missed two games last week and he poses far too big of a risk on FantasyScore right now. Owners will need to wait awhile before employing Garcia in their lineups.
Mon, 25 May 2015 13:37:33 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Sanchez ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) likely will be back in the lineup in the near future. Bonifacio ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) has not done a lot at the plate this season and is not the best choice for owners to use on FantasyScore.
Mon, 25 May 2015 13:21:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Flowers ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) probably is receiving a day off and should return to the lineup soon. Soto ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has been more productive at the play this month but is still hitting only .192 and is not a great option on FantasyScore.
Sun, 24 May 2015 10:16:56 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Garcia ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) missed the last two games because of his knee injury but is ready to play. Garcia has at least one hit in 11 of his last 15 games and could be a solid starting option on FantasyScore if he is healthy.
Sat, 23 May 2015 15:13:17 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Garcia ($4,200, 8.4% of cap) was kept out for precautionary reasons, it appears. He may be back in the lineup Sunday, May 24, but keep an eye on his progress and be prepared to hold him out.
