Fantasy Tip: Sale's ($9,700; or 19.4% of cap) double-digit strikeout streak was snapped at eight starts, but he was more than good for FantasyScore owners. The All-Star continues to steam right along, and is a great buy even at this high price. Pitching wins in DFS, especially dominant pitching.

Fantasy Tip: Cabrera ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) is still hitting just .259 on the year, and he hasn't been able to enjoy any sustained success. Better options are usually available at FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: C Tyler Flowers ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) is getting a scheduled day off. Soto ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is good for salary cap relief in FantasyScore but not much else.

Fantasy Tip: Danks ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) was 0-4 with a 6.84 ERA in his previous four starts, but he was sharp Friday. However, he still owns a 4.95 ERA for the year and isn't worth starting at FantasyScore after one good outing.

Fantasy Tip: Rodon ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) has been extremely inconsistent, but there is no doubting his upside. Against Baltimore, though, he projects as a flier No. 2 pitcher option at FantasyScore. He is worth rostering in the majority of seasonal leagues, but owners will want to be picky with when they utilize him.

Fantasy Tip: This has been talked about as a means to provide Sale ($9,700, 19.4% of cap) extra rest after his heavy workload recently. He has thrown 76 innings over his past 10 starts with a 1.78 ERA and 115 strikeouts and been as good as any pitcher in baseball. Toronto will be a tough task, but it is difficult to fade Sale at FantasyScore in his current form.

Fantasy Tip: Without the option for a designated hitter, LaRoche ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) hasn't started either of the first two games of the series. He has been an extreme disappoint this season with a .233/.340/.400 slash line and just 31 RBI through his first 71 games this season. Don't rule out a small bounce back in the second half, but at 35, LaRoche's best days are in the rear-view mirror.

Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale might have his next start pushed back to provide extra rest due to his recent workload. SP Carlos Rodon would start against the Baltimore Orioles Sunday, July 5, in that case.
Fantasy Tip: Sale ($9,700, 19.4% of cap) has thrown 76 innings over his past 10 starts with a 1.78 ERA and 115 strikeouts. He has been as good as any pitcher in baseball, so being cautious shouldn't concern fantasy owners. Check back for an official announcement on the rotation plans for Chicago.

Chicago White Sox SP Jose Quintana is the probable starter for Wednesday, July 1, against the St. Louis Cardinals. He is 2-6 over his past 12 starts, but he has posted a solid 3.10 ERA during the span.
Fantasy Tip: Quintana ($5,800; or 11.6% of cap) hasn't been getting much in the way of run support, but he has still been turning in solid efforts of FantasyScore players.
Tue, 30 Jun 2015 22:29:03 -0700
Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale struck out 12 batters over eight innings in a no-decision Tuesday, June 30, against the St. Louis Cardinals. He tied a major league record by striking out 10 in at least eight consecutive starts, tying former SP Pedro Martinez.
Fantasy Tip: Sale ($9.700; or 19.4% of cap) has a high price tag, but he has been a great play for FantasyScore players. Eventually his double-digit strikeouts streak will end, but ride that wave until it crashes.
Tue, 30 Jun 2015 16:08:39 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Rodon ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) has seen his ups and downs in his rookie season, and although he's striking out 8.9 hitters per nine innings, he's having problems with control (5.0 walks per nine innings). His upside remains enticing for fantasy owners, although it'll be tempered if the White Sox rest him more often in the second half.
Tue, 30 Jun 2015 15:06:44 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Be careful of using LaRoche ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) on FantasyScore in this series against the Cards without a DH. Jose Abreu could also sit out a game if LaRoche enters the lineup at first base. Just make sure to double check this week on LaRoche before clicking his name in all fantasy formats.

The Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers, Kansas City Royals, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, St. Louis Cardinals and Toronto Blue Jays are interested in Chicago White Sox SP Jeff Samardzija.
Fantasy Tip: Entering play Sunday, June 28, Samardzija ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) had posted a 5.94 ERA through six June starts, which hasn't exactly helped his trade value. Avoid using him in FantasyScore until he starts producing better results.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 09:20:51 -0700
Chicago White Sox 2B Carlos Sanchez is not in the starting lineup against Detroit Tigers SP David Price Sunday, June 28. 2B Emilio Bonifacio will start at second base and is batting ninth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Sanchez ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) likely is receiving the day off Sunday. Bonifacio ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) has only one hit in 17 at-bats this month and should be avoided by owners on FantasyScore.
Sun, 28 Jun 2015 09:01:49 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Flowers ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) should return to the lineup for the next game and probably is receiving a day off. Soto ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has three hits and two RBI in his last three games but is not a great option for owners on FantasyScore.
