Chicago White Sox SP Jose Quintana was good once again in his start Monday, May 30, against the New York Mets, albeit in defeat. He registered seven solid innings, yielding only one run on six hits and two walks. The left-hander also had seven strikeouts.
Fantasy Tip: Quintana has always had a reputation for consistency, and it could be argued that he's been steadier than ever this season, as today's outing gives him nine quality starts in 11 tries. The 27-year-old is trending towards his first career All-Star berth if he can keep it up. He's been very valuable in fantasy thus far.

Chicago White Sox OF Avisail Garcia is not in the starting lineup against New York Mets SP Matt Harvey Monday, May 30, because the team is playing in a National League stadium and does not have a designated hitter.
Fantasy Tip: Garcia probably will only be used as a pinch hitter during the series against the Mets, so he will not have much value in daily fantasy leagues for a few days.

Chicago White Sox OF Austin Jackson (toe) is not in the starting lineup against New York Mets SP Matt Harvey Monday, May 30. OF J.B. Shuck will start in center field and is batting fifth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Shuck did not have much success when he was with the White Sox earlier in the season and probably should be avoided in daily fantasy leagues.
Mon, 30 May 2016 07:56:39 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Shuck could see decent playing time if Jackson is sidelined for a few days. He did not record a hit in his nine at-bats earlier this season. Shuck could be a short-term option in AL-only leagues but can be avoided in most leagues.

Chicago White Sox OF Austin Jackson (toe) left the game early Sunday, May 29, and has been diagnosed with turf toe. Jackson and manager Robin Vertura said they are not sure when Jackson will be able to return.
Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation to see if Jackson will need to be placed on the disabled list. Jerry Sands could receive some starts while Jackson is sidelined but is not a strong fantasy option.

Chicago White Sox SP Chris Sale left with a 4-2 lead after yielding two runs on seven hits and fanning seven over as many innings Sunday, May 29, but did not factor into the decision as the bullpen was unable to solve the Kansas City Royals for the third straight game in a 5-4 loss.
Fantasy Tip: Sale was not to blame in this one like he was in a rare stinker Tuesday against the Cleveland Indians, and today's outing marks the ninth time in his last nine trips to the mound he has allowed two runs or fewer. For those not scoring at home, the White Sox were unable to hold a four-run advantage on Friday, a six-run lead on Saturday or a two-run edge in the finale. Sale will take his third crack at his 10th win next weekend on the road against the Detroit Tigers.

Chicago White Sox C Dioner Navarro will bat seventh and start behind the plate against SP Sunday, May 29. In addition, SS Jimmy Rollins will miss his second consecutive game, with INF Tyler Saladino batting ninth and playing shortstop.
Fantasy Tip: Saladino is batting .346 (9-for-26) on the road this season and is 13-for-38 (.342) this month, so he should be viewed as a productive source of cap relief in DFS. Navarro is hitting .269 this month following a slow start at the plate this year and is a viable catching option for daily players looking to save money.

Fantasy Tip: Shields has received the lowest amount of run support for any starter in the majors this year, getting an average of just 1.8 runs from his offense. The 34-year-old right-hander is 2-6 with a 3.06 ERA and 1.30 WHIP through 10 outings, with 56 strikeouts over 64 2/3 innings. Shields should be viewed as a viable middle-of-the-rotation fantasy arm regardless of where he is pitching, although joining a club with a better offense would only increase his value.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson apparently found his groove of Chicago's previous series against the Cleveland Indians, as today's multi-hit performance was his fourth this week - two shy of his total over his first 44 games. Over the last seven days alone, he has lifted his average 39 points to .257. Jackson doesn't bring enough in any category at this stage of his career to be a consistent fantasy asset, but a short-term hot hitter that comes cheap can be worth his weight in gold for DFS owners.

Chicago White Sox SS Jimmy Rollins is not in the starting lineup against Kansas City Royals SP Yordano Ventura Saturday, May 28. SS Tyler Saladino will start at shortstop and is batting ninth in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Saladino has gone 2-for-10 over the last seven days and is not strong fantasy option in any league.
Sat, 28 May 2016 05:09:09 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Cabrera has hit a home run in each of the last two games and has six RBI during that span. He is hitting .309 this month and should be a fine starting option in most leagues.

Chicago White Sox OF Adam Eaton is out for the second straight day against Kansas City Royals left-handed SP Danny Duffy Friday, May 27. OF Austin Jackson moves up to the leadoff spot and OF Jerry Sands is serving as the designated hitter and batting fifth. OF Avisail Garcia moves to right field and is hitting eighth.
Fantasy Tip: Eaton is getting a chance to rest with the team facing lefties back-to-back days. A-Jax gains notable value hitting leadoff again with a chance to find more opportunities to run and score runs. Sands has pop but is inconsistent at the plate, making him more of a low-end dart throw in DFS. Garcia continues to disappoint his owners with his power potential, and his fantasy upside remains limited hitting low in the order. .

Chicago White Sox OF Melky Cabrera is hitting second against Kansas City Royals SP Danny Duffy Thursday, May 26. As a result, SS Jimmy Rollins moves down to seventh in the lineup against a left-hander.
Fantasy Tip: The Melk Man continues to put the ball in play often for a high average (.294). However, he has no home runs against left-handers from the right side and has less power in that setup. He's still not a bad option for your lineups, but temper expectations tonight. Rollins is a very low-end shortstop option in daily formats against the southpaw.

Chicago White Sox OF Adam Eaton is not in the starting lineup Thursday, May 26. OF Austin Jackson moves to center field and is hitting leadoff against Kansas City Royals SP Danny Duffy. Also, OF Jerry Sands draws into the lineup as the designated hitter and is batting fifth.
Fantasy Tip: A-Jax has the speed and Sands has the power, but both are merely low-end flyers in daily contests tonight. Jackson's move up the lineup makes him a little more intriguing for potential runs scored and stolen bases, but don't overvalue him because of that. Sands was once a big-time prospect but has hit just 10 home runs in his five years in the big leagues.
Wed, 25 May 2016 20:43:16 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Abreu has gone 6-for-8 over the last two games but has hit only one home run in his last 17 games. Abreu has posted decent numbers and will continue to hit in the middle of the lineup, so he should be an attractive option for most owners.
