"I feel great actually," Lowell said. "I didn't know what to expect with the injection. I was relieved when they took out the fluid. I thought they'd find something."

Lowell had fluid drained from his right hip and received an anti-inflammatory injection Monday, June 29. "(Lowell) had 15 CCs of fluid taken out, which for a hip, I think, is pretty extensive. I think that's going to really help," Francona said.
