Fantasy Tip: Gomes ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) hit a home run in the team's last game and is hitting .294 so far this season. Gomes could be a cheaper option on FantasyScore, but owners may be able to find better options to use.

Fantasy Tip: Pierzynski ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) has start off the season with a .333 batting average with a hit in each of his starts. Pierzynski could be a starting option on FantasyScore, because he is 5-for-15 against Toronto Blue Jays SP R.A. Dickey.

Fantasy Tip: Markakis ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) is off to a strong start at the plate with seven hits in his last three games. He is not a great source of power for owners, but he could be used on FantasyScore if owners are looking for help with their batting average.

Fantasy Tip: Consider Young ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) a potential upside target in FantasyScore contests Friday. Batting first increases his likely plate appearances, too. Still, Young doesn't handle the bat well, and he is more of a flier than anything.

Fantasy Tip: Gomes ($2,200, 4.4% of cap) isn't very attractive to FantasyScore users today after he hit a paltry .165 with two of his six home runs against right-handers in 2014. He also has just three hits in 14 career at-bats against Haren.

Atlanta Braves OF Nick Markakis is not in the starting lineup against Miami Marlins SP Dan Haren Wednesday, April 15. 2B Kelly Johnson is starting in right field and hitting fifth in the batting order.
Fantasy Tip: Markakis is likely just receiving an off day in a day game following a night contest. Johnson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) isn't a recommendation at FantasyScore Wednesday. He managed to hit just .220 with six home runs against right-handed pitchers in 2014.
Tue, 14 Apr 2015 15:04:30 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Callaspo ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) is hot to start the year (.471, 8-for-17) and is earning his spot in the Bravos' lineup. He'll be a sleeper option at FantasyScore while he's swinging the stick well, but he doesn't offer a whole lot of offensive upside to daily gamers.
Tue, 14 Apr 2015 14:54:28 -0700
Atlanta Braves OF Cameron Maybin is not in the starting lineup against Miami Marlins SP Tom Koehler Tuesday, April 14. 2B Kelly Johnson is starting in left field and hitting seventh in the batting order.
Fantasy Tip: It looks like a normal off day for Maybin Tuesday night. Johnson ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has virtually no offensive upside and should be considered a weak play at FantasyScore, even while going up against Koehler.
Mon, 13 Apr 2015 21:50:27 -0700
Atlanta Braves SP Trevor Cahill is listed as the probable pitcher for the game Tuesday, April 14, against the Miami Marlins. The weather forecast shows a 40 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms throughout the game.
Fantasy Tip: The weather looks to be similar to Monday’s game which was delayed to start, and again interrupted for 40 minutes in the fourth inning. A more lengthy in-game delay could mean Cahill ($3,400; or 6.8% of cap) has a shortened outing. FantasyScore owners would be better served avoiding pitchers with weather uncertainty.
Mon, 13 Apr 2015 16:11:22 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It is not known if the game will be played Monday, so owners on FantasyScore may want to consider replacing them in their lineups. The starting pitchers in the game should be risky options for owners because of the bad weather.
Mon, 13 Apr 2015 11:42:15 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Callaspo ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) isn't a bad buy-low option for second base at FantasyScore, especially when considering that the Braves torched Latos just last week.
Sat, 11 Apr 2015 19:14:04 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Teheran ($7,200, 14.4% of cap) allowed two hits, four walks and one earned run through six full innings pitched. There doesn't seem to be any doubt that Teheran will make his next start, and owners shouldn't be concerned.

Fantasy Tip: Grilli was named the primary closer following the Craig Kimbrel trade, and he is making the most of the opportunity. Check out his price tag when he is added to the player pool at Fantasyscore.

Atlanta Braves SP Mike Minor (shoulder) is still doing long-toss throwing sessions and hasn't thrown off a mound yet, according to manager Fredi Gonzalez. Gonzlaez noted Minor is close to throwing from the mound, though.
Fantasy Tip: Minor is still approximately two months away, as he has had to essentially restart his spring training program all over. After battling shoulder injuries throughout the 2014 season, there are certainly concerns about his ability to rebound this year. Still, he is worth stashing in the majority of formats.
Fri, 10 Apr 2015 14:12:26 -0700
Atlanta Braves 2B Jace Peterson is not in the starting lineup against New York Mets SP Jon Niese Friday, April 10. 2B Phil Gosselin is receiving the start at the keystone and is hitting second in the lineup.
Fantasy Tip: Gosselin ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is not an attractive FantasyScore option for owners looking to spend big money elsewhere in their lineup.
