Arizona Diamondbacks 3B Jake Lamb (foot) is sidelined due to a left foot stress reaction, and manager Chip Hale did not have an update on him Wednesday, May 6. Lamb was recently cleared to walk on a treadmill.
Fantasy Tip: Lamb has shown some decent power potential when healthy, but FantasyScore need to avoid him until he can officially return and knock off the rust in a game or two.

Fantasy Tip: Since the start of the 2012 season Trumbo is hitting .316 (12-for-38) with a double, eight homers and 20 RBIs at Coors Field. Trumbo is a slam-dunk FantasyScore play at $3,400 (or 6.8% of cap) whenever the Snakes pay a visit to Denver.

Arizona Diamondbacks 2B Aaron Hill tied a career high with four RBIs Wednesday, May 6, in Game 1 of a doubleheader against the Colorado Rockies. He finished with four hits, including a three-run homer.
Fantasy Tip: At just $1,900 (or 3.8% of cap) Hill was an amazing bargain in FantasyScore. He had two more hits in four at-bats with a double in the nightcap of the double dip. He has hit safely in six straight games, and he has six RBIs over the past six games. Use him in FantasyScore until he cools off.

Fantasy Tip: Salty is worth snagging in NL-only leagues, but he's not an option in mixed leagues yet. Tuffy Gosewich has hit just .176 the first 24 games, and Salty could thrive in the Arizona heat.

Arizona Diamondbacks 1B Paul Goldschmidt has a slash line of .356/.448/.622 in 2015, and his first six home runs of the season have come on the first pitch, which has contributed to a 1.462 slugging percentage in 0-0 counts. He is swinging at the first pitch 33.3% of the time this year compared to 21.4% of the time in his last two seasons.
Fantasy Tip: Goldschmidt ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) was a top-five fantasy selection in traditional leagues, and he will continue to be a top-notch first base option at FantasyScore all year long.

Fantasy Tip: Bradley ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) is expected to miss two starts after taking a liner off his face. Robbie Ray ($3,600, 7.2% of cap) is starting in his place against the Colorado Rockies tonight, but he should be considered a very weak FantasyScore play.

Fantasy Tip: Goldy ($6,000, 12.0% of your cap) is a must-start in Coors Field the next two days on FantasyScore.
Mon, 04 May 2015 17:00:12 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Trumbo ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is an excellent choice for your FantasyScore lineup tonight at Coors Field against a lefty in Tyler Matzek, who is due for some correction to his fast 2015 start.
Mon, 04 May 2015 16:58:35 -0700
Fantasy Tip: With Lamb hurt, Yasmany Tomas ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) has taken the everyday starting role at third base and has hit just fine. It remains to be seen how playing time will shake out when Lamb returns, but the D-backs could try to move Tomas to second base or the outfield to keep his bat in the lineup.
Mon, 04 May 2015 15:18:42 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Pacheco ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is 5-for-12 with two runs, a home run and three RBI over the past four games. There is a reasonable chance he begins seeing more starts and at-bats, too, because Tuffy Gosewisch is sporting a .176/.222/.176 slash line through 72 plate appearances. Taking a speculative leap of faith and adding Pacheco in NL-only and two-catcher formats isn't out of the question. FantasyScore players will be interested to note Pacheco's .318 career batting average at Coors Field, too.

Fantasy Tip: Trumbo ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is currently mired in a 2-for-16 funk, so a trip to Coors Field could be just what the doctor ordered. This spot in the order is likely temporary, though. As traditional lineup construction would have him closer to the middle of the order. Regardless, he is still beside Paul Goldschmidt ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) and that has a lot of fantasy perks. Trumbo is a solid mid-priced outfield target for FantasyScore players Monday.
Mon, 04 May 2015 15:04:23 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Pollock ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) boasts more speed than pop, so landing in the clean-up spot is a bit surprising. Hitting behind Paul Goldschmidt ($6,000, 12.0% of cap) has similar advantages to those that come with hitting in front of him, the only difference is the likely landing spot of tallies in the box score. Pollock is in play as a mid-priced outfield option for FantasyScore players Monday, especially with the game being played at Coors Field.
Mon, 04 May 2015 14:54:07 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hill ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has been in and out of the lineup and sports a .196/.237/.286 slash line for the season. However, he is currently riding a 4-for-11 run with a home run and starting in Coors Field against a lefty might help Hill continue his offensive surge. Consider him a low-priced flier in FantasyScore contests Monday.
Mon, 04 May 2015 14:02:30 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Surprise, a starting pitcher hasn't performed well at the hitter-friendly launching pad known as Coors Field. There is no reason to start Collmenter in any fantasy format Monday.
Sat, 02 May 2015 17:42:14 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hellickson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) carries a 5.24 ERA and .333 batting average against into the start, and he should be avoided at FantasyScore against a Dodgers team ranked in the top 10 in most offensive categories.
