Fantasy Tip: Hellickson ($3,000, 6.0% of cap) carries a 5.24 ERA and .333 batting average against into the start, and he should be avoided at FantasyScore against a Dodgers team ranked in the top 10 in most offensive categories.
Sat, 02 May 2015 17:28:22 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Pacheco ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has just 20 at-bats under his belt this season, but he is 3-for-7 with a home run and three RBIs in his last two starts, and a matchup against journeyman starter Scott Baker isn't exactly intimidating. Pacheco could be worth a flier at FantasyScore if you are looking to punt the catcher position to free up cap space.

Fantasy Tip: Ray has struggled in Double-A Mobile this season, and it is hard to expect much out of him when he starts for the Diamondbacks. Avoid him at FantasyScore.
Fri, 01 May 2015 14:56:53 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Tomas ($2,700, 5.4% of cap) is 8-for-24 since being recalled to Arizona, and he is riding back-to-back games with multiple hits. He has tremendous power potential, and if he can earn eligibility at second base, it would be a huge boon for his fantasy stock. Tomas' value is rising quickly, and with his upside, he should be owned in the majority of formats.

Arizona Diamondbacks OF Ender Inciarte is not in the starting lineup Friday, May 1. OF David Peralta is starting in left field and hitting fifth in the batting order against Los Angeles Dodgers SP Carlos Frias.
Fantasy Tip: Peralta ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) is a nice value play this evening against Frias, who is making his first start of 2015 for an injury-depleted Dodgers rotation.

Fantasy Tip: Owners of Collmenter ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) may want to temper the enthusiasm a bit, because it was the punchless Rockies. However, starts like this are still good so you may want to give him another go next time out. Collmenter seemed to resolve any issues that may have plagued him earlier.

Fantasy Tip: Make sure to avoid Pollock ($3,900, 7.8% of cap) in all fantasy formats Wednesday. He is riding an 11-game hitting streak -- outside a failed pinch-hit attempt -- with nine runs, four RBI and four stolen bases. Inciarte ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) has played well when given the opportunity, and qualifies as a low-priced flier for FantasyScore players Wednesday. He is currently sporting a nice 7-for-22 run.

Updating a previous report, Arizona Diamondbacks SP Archie Bradley (face) said his teeth are the most sore Wednesday, April 29, and that he has a slight sinus fracture. Bradley noted he expects to return after his 15-day disabled list stint, and he could pitch through the minor sinus fracture.
Fantasy Tip: Bradley ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) is worth stashing in the majority of formats. Vidal Nuno could start in place of Bradley, and Nuno might be worth a stream in seasonal leagues or a spot start in FantasyScore contests. Nuno has decent numbers at Triple-A Reno with a 3.60 ERA, a 1.20 WHIP and 26 K's in 25 innings.

Fantasy Tip: The move isn't a surprise despite the good news that he didn't have a concussion or facial fractures. He could miss a month, though, as he'll need time to stretch out again. Vidal Nuno is probably the most likely option to replace him with Allen Webster (shoulder) on the 7-day DL and Randall Delgado in the bullpen. Nuno has decent numbers at Triple-A Reno with a 3.60 ERA, a 1.20 WHIP and 26 K's in 25 innings. He might be worth a spot start on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: Bradley ($4,300, 8.6% of your cap) is very unlikely to make his next start, but he seems to have avoided major injury. Keep an eye on his prognosis and he'll be back in the low-end starter mix on FantasyScore.
Wed, 29 Apr 2015 01:41:06 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Inciarte ($1,900, 3.8% of cap) has six hits against the Giants' top pitcher, so the best bet is to leave him in your lineup when he goes up against the World Series MVP.
Tue, 28 Apr 2015 22:53:48 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Trainers said he was lucky it wasn't a couple of inches higher or lower, so it appears he escaped major damage. Still, his status for his next scheduled start is up in the air, so FantasyScore owners should avoid him until he can prove his health and that he is not gun shy.
Tue, 28 Apr 2015 19:10:52 -0700
Arizona Diamondbacks SP Archie Bradley (face) left his start Tuesday, April 28, against the Colorado Rockies after being hit in the face with a line drive. He left to a standing ovation with a towel over his face, and he went immediately to the clubhouse.
Fantasy Tip: The extent of Bradley's injuries are not yet known, and we'll certainly keep you up to date. It's hard to imagine he would be able to make his next scheduled start, but we saw Cleveland's Carlos Carrasco hit by a comebacker in the face earlier in the season and he made his next start so you never know. Stay tuned.
Tue, 28 Apr 2015 16:08:34 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hill ($2,000, 4.0% of cap) is batting only .156 (7-for-45) with no homers and two RBI on the season. He's a low-end second base option, but he has a good matchup against Kendrick at Chase Field.
Tue, 28 Apr 2015 16:03:30 -0700
Arizona Diamondbacks OF David Peralta is starting in left field and hitting fifth in the batting order against Colorado Rockies SP Kyle Kendrick Tuesday, April 28. OF Ender Inciarte is sitting the bench.
Fantasy Tip: Peralta ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) seems primed to be a great value play at FantasyScore against Kendrick in a hitter-friendly ballpark tonight. Ignore the fact that Peralta is batting only .205 (8-for-39) with two home runs on the young season.
