Updating a previous report, Arizona Diamondbacks SP Archie Bradley (shoulder) isn't dealing with a shoulder impingement, but he will rest his arm for around 10 days and then resume a throwing program.
Fantasy Tip: Bradley ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) has a long road back, but fortunately it looks like he won't miss the rest of the season. However, he should be left to the waiver wire in shallow mixed leagues since he's unlikely to contribute big numbers in the second half of 2015.

Arizona Diamondbacks OF David Peralta has been heating up as of late, slashing .355/.474/.645 over his past nine games, to go along with two home runs, five runs batted in, seven runs scored, six walks, and one stolen base.
Fantasy Tip: With hits in seven of his past nine games, Peralta ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) is turning into a fine fantasy option, but concerning tonight's matchup, he has to contend with Colorado Rockies left-hander Chris Rusin, which could be a problem, as the 26-year-old is hitting just .200 against southpaws this season without a single homer. Peralta is batting low in the lineup as a result, but given his hot streak, and the fact that Arizona leads the National League in runs scored, Peralta still merits consideration for daily lineups.

Arizona Diamondbacks SP Archie Bradley (shoulder) met with Dr. James Andrews Thursday, July 2, to get a second opinion on his shoulder injury. Dr. Andrews confirmed the diagnosis by the team doctor, reporting no structural damage in the shoulder, just some inflammation.
Fantasy Tip: Bradley ($4,500, 9.0% of cap) is on the 15-day disabled list, but there doesn't seem to be much reason to believe the injury will keep him out too far beyond the minimum time. Still, the Diamondbacks are likely to take things very carefully with Bradley. Due to Bradley's struggles this season, even when healthy, he's only worth stashing in NL-only leagues and deep keeper leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Ahmed ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) is hitting .302 with three homers and eight RBI in his last 15 games.

Fantasy Tip: Peralta ($3,400, 6.8% of cap) should be avoided at FantasyScore tonight. We don't recommend starting a lefty swinger against a solid lefty arm like Anderson, especially when Peralta has seven hits in 33 at-bats (.212) against southpaws this year with none of his six home runs.
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 16:26:45 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Saltalamacchia ($2,400, 4.8% of cap), who is batting .184 (9-for-49) for the D-backs, is a very weak catching option in tonight's contests. Avoid him.
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 16:24:29 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hill ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) isn't a great FantasyScore pick against Anderson, who has the highest ground-ball percentage of any pitcher in the major leagues this year. Hill has only 36 hits in 162 at-bats (.222) with three home runs and 18 RBI on the season. He has no homers and just two RBI against lefties.
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 16:15:43 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Ahmed ($3,300, 6.6% of cap) homered in the last two nights and has six home runs and 20 RBI to go along with a .234 average (50-for-214). He's normally not likely to be on a daily gamer's radar, but he deserves attention while he's hot and hitting atop the lineup, and he is hitting .333 (16-for-48) with two of his home runs against southpaws this year.
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 15:17:46 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Corbin ($4,300, 8.6% of cap) should now be owned in all formats. If he's available in your leagues, grab him right away. The D-backs face the Colorado Rockies in the desert Saturday, making Corbin a shaky FantasyScore option in his first start back.
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 13:31:41 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Ray ($5,100, 10.2% of cap) held the Dodgers to two earned runs over 6 2/3 innings with four strikeouts Tuesday, June 9, but it doesn't mean he is a lock to shut them down again Wednesday. FantasyScore players should view Ray as a high-risk, high-reward No. 2 arm for contests, and he is just a cavernous mixed and NL-only option in seasonal leagues.
Wed, 01 Jul 2015 13:19:52 -0700
Arizona Diamondbacks 1B Paul Goldschmidt is 7-for-11 with two home runs and five RBI in his career against Los Angeles Dodgers SP Brett Anderson. Anderson is pitching against the Diamondbacks Wednesday, July 1.
Fantasy Tip: Past production isn't a guarantee for future success, but Goldschmidt ($6,500, 13.0% of cap) does own a career .433 wOBA, .280 ISO and 1.033 OPS against lefties. Goldschmidt is a worthy lineup building block for FantasyScore players most nights, but especially when he faces a southpaw.

Fantasy Tip: Collmenter was recently bumped to the bullpen from the rotation, and with Patrick Corbin returning from injury it sounds like a one-time deal for Collmenter. Still, if he shows well in this outing he could be next in line if a spot opens up.
Tue, 30 Jun 2015 18:50:16 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hernandez is a backup, but could see an occasional start with Tuffy Gosewisch done for the season and Gerald Laird out indefinitely. FantasyScore players could find Hernandez to be a low-priced value when he starts.
Tue, 30 Jun 2015 15:55:58 -0700
Arizona Diamondbacks SP Rubby De La Rosa is 2-0 with a 0.82 ERA in his last three starts, and he has pitched well with C Welington Castillo behind the plate. De La Rosa is 6-3 on the year with a 4.69 ERA and has allowed 14 runs in 10 innings in both of his starts against the Los Angeles Dodgers, who he faces Tuesday, June 30. He allowed nine runs and 10 hits in his last start against the Dodgers June 8.
Fantasy Tip: De La Rosa ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) is striking out a healthy 8.2 hitters per nine innings this year and can be a profitable pitcher play in the right matchups on FantasyScore. However, the risk outweighs the reward against the Dodgers tonight in a hitter-friendly ballpark. The Dodgers also lead the National League in home runs.
Tue, 30 Jun 2015 14:28:49 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Webster ($3,700, 7.4% of cap) had an unsightly 7.11 ERA in four starts for the Snakes this year. You can now drop him in all formats. It's unclear who will enter the rotation in his place, but Patrick Corbin (elbow) is expected to return from the DL next week to start against the Texas Rangers. Corbin is worth adding in all formats if he's available.
