Fantasy Tip: Gosewisch is likely out until at least the middle part of the 2016 season.

Fantasy Tip: Inciarte ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) is hitting .286 (14-for-49) against left-handers in 2015, but it'd be best to avoid him against Wood this evening on FantasyScore when given other options. Wood is coming off two fine outings in a row in which he gave up just one run in seven innings in both starts.

Arizona Diamondbacks 3B Yasmany Tomas is not in the starting lineup Monday, June 1. 2B Aaron Hill is starting at the hot corner and hitting fifth in the batting order against Atlanta Braves SP Alex Wood.
Fantasy Tip: Hill ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) is hitting .290 (9-for-31) with no homers against left-handers this year, while Wood allows righty opponents to hit for a .788 OPS in 2015. However, Wood has rounded into form in his last two outings, going seven innings in each and allowing just one earned run in both starts. Consider Hill a midrange second base pick on FantasyScore.

Fantasy Tip: You won't find many other hitters that even come close to that kind of production in one month. Goldschmidt ($6,200, 12.4% of cap) is one of the best all-around first basemen in the league, and he isn't showing any signs of slowing down anytime soon. Stay confident in him on FantasyScore.

Arizona Diamondbacks OF Mark Trumbo isn't on the trade block as the trade deadline approaches, but general manager Dave Stewart said he will listen to offers. Trumbo's nine home runs rank second on the team behind 1B Paul Goldschmidt's 15. 3B Yasmany Tomas is hitting .320 with a .758 OPS, and an impending return of 3B Jake Lamb (foot) figures to push Tomas into the outfield.
Fantasy Tip: Hitting .273 (45-for-165) with nine home runs and 23 RBI, Trumbo's ($4,400, 8.8% of cap) value, both in fantasy and real life, is probably at its highest. His all-or-nothing style makes him a risky FantasyScore selection, and a trade to a pitching-friendly environment could make him less attractive.

Fantasy Tip: Inciarte ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) probably will return the lineup in the next day or two. Peralta ($2,400, 4.8% of cap) has six RBI in his last six games and could be a cheaper option for owners on FantasyScore to consider.
Sun, 31 May 2015 10:32:59 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Ahmed ($2,100, 4.2% of cap) probably is receiving a day off and should return to the lineup soon. Pennington ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) has only three hits in his last 14 games and probably should not be a starting option on FantasyScore.

Arizona Diamondbacks 1B Paul Goldschmidt went 3-for-5 with two home runs, four RBIs and two runs scored in a 7-3 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Saturday, May 30, improving his average to .511 in five career games at Miller Park.
Fantasy Tip: You probably didn't need another reason to start an offensive force like Goldschmidt ($6,200, 12.4% of cap), but he is must-start option with another game at Miller Park on tap Sunday, May 31.
Sat, 30 May 2015 13:40:20 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Reed is still a volatile closing option, but he'll need to be owned universally where saves are a factor.
Sat, 30 May 2015 09:40:19 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Pacheco ($1,700, 3.4% of cap) has not had much success at the plate this month and has only one RBI in his last eight games. Owners on FantasyScore probably should avoid using Pacheco in their lineups.
Sat, 30 May 2015 09:37:39 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Hill ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) only has two hits in his last 10 games and is hitting .248 on the season. Owners on FantasyScore may be able to find better options to use for their lineups.
Sat, 30 May 2015 09:16:27 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Tomas ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) has played in the last four games and is likely receiving a day off. Aaron Hill ($3,800, 7.6% of cap) will take his place in the starting lineup but may not be the best option on FantasyScore.
Fri, 29 May 2015 22:01:11 -0700
Fantasy Tip: The closer situation in Arizona is shaky, and Ziegler could lose chances to Addison or Enrique Burgos if he doesn't right the ship. Needless to say, you can't count on any of Arizona's relievers to provide you saves for the long haul.
Fri, 29 May 2015 16:08:55 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Lamb ($3,500, 7.0% of cap) likely will need to play in some rehab games before returning to the Diamondbacks, so owners should avoid him until he rejoins the team. Yasmany Tomas ($3,100, 6.2% of cap) is on an 11-game hitting streak and has at least two hits in eight of those games. Tomas could be a starting option on FantasyScore while he is on a hot streak.

Fantasy Tip: Saltalamacchia went 2-for-29 over nine games with the Miami Marlins earlier this season, and then he posted an uninspiring .188/.222/.375 slash line through nine games with Class AAA Reno. He is a desperation flier in NL-only and two-catcher formats until proven otherwise. In daily contests, "Salty" is nothing more than a low-priced flier.
