Griffin was hurt on improvisational runs and merely needs to work on picking his spots to slide or throw the ball away when facing QB pressure. The younger Shanahan said that they might have to adapt more as defenses plan better for the system. Fantasy Tip: Griffin is a borderline QB1 on draft day with well-known upside. If you take him, just make sure to draft a capable backup in case he can't start the season on time. Griffin sprinted the 53-yard width of one of the end zones without limping. He then planted his twice repaired left knee and pivoted left up the sidelines. Fantasy Tip: King said he gets "zero sense" that the team thinks Griffin will have to miss Week 1. Keep this in mind as you approach the middle rounds of fantasy football leagues.
