Fantasy Tip: Crowder could make for a sneaky PPR option this year after going for 59 catches and 604 yards in his rookie season. The Redskins do have a few mouths to feed, but Crowder may be one of Kirk Cousins' safety blankets coming out of the slot.

Fantasy Tip: The starting job is Jones' to lose after showing promise in his rookie year last season. The yards per carry left something to be desired, but Jones is still an RB2 consideration. Marshall should not be ignored, though. He could win the Redskins' backup running back job and is worth a look in later rounds, although he'll likely be more suited for leagues with standard scoring.

Washington Redskins WR Josh Doctson will back up WRs DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon on the outside in his rookie season, according to ESPN.com's John Keim. Keim also said Doctson is not expected to see much work in three-wide-receiver sets.
Fantasy Tip: Jamison Crowder figures to be the primary slot receiver, so Doctson may not receive as much playing time as he'd like in his first professional season. He still has solid upside, though, and should be considered in late rounds, particularly in standard leagues.

Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins will receive $19.95 million for one year under the tag this year. The team was unwilling to give him a long-term deal, as general manager Scot McCloughan believes he can find a comparable quarterback who will be much cheaper than Cousins at some point in the next year or two.
Fantasy Tip: Cousins is playing for a big contract, as he'll get mega money if he has another strong season in 2016. That extra incentive, along with a healthy receiving corps and top-notch tight end might help him stay on his upward ascension. Heading into 2016 he should be considered as a Top 15 option at his position.

Fantasy Tip: Brown had only 14 catches for 112 yards and no scores in 10 games with the Ravens in 2015, and he'd likely just be a depth option if signed in Washington. He can be ignored for fantasy even if he's inked by the Redskins.

Washington Redskins S DeAngelo Hall said he is looking forward to his move to full-time safety in 2016 and believes he will "put a little fear" in opposing quarterbacks because of his ability to create turnovers.

Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins has received an offer from the Redskins worth $16 million per season with $24 million in guaranteed money. Cousins will play under the franchise tag in 2016 for $20 million.
Fantasy Tip: Cousins likely would receive a better deal next offseason if he plays well this season, so he will play on a one-year deal for now. He will have several weapons to work with in the passing game and will be a low-end No. 1 or a high-end No. 2 quarterback in most fantasy leagues.

Washington Redskins QB Nate Sudfeld likely will be part of the team during the 2016 season but it is not known if he will be on the 53-man roster or the practice squad. His performance during the preseason may determine if he will make the final roster.

Washington Redskins RB Keith Marshall appears to have a good chance to make the 53-man roster at this point but could be on the roster bubble if the team adds a veteran running back during training camp, in the opinion of CSNMidAtlantic.com's Rich Tandler.
Fantasy Tip: Marshall was limited during offseason workouts because of an injury, so he will have to compete for a spot during training camp. He likely will not receive much work if he makes the team and would not be a great fantasy option.

Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson (shoulder) did not participate in offseason workouts because of shoulder surgery but should be ready for training camp. Thompson is expected to be the third-down back for the Redskins in 2016.
Fantasy Tip: Thompson should receive touches this season as long as he can stay healthy. He probably will be more involved in the passing game than the running game, which should help his value in point-per-reception leagues. He could be considered a late-round option in most leagues.
