Washington Redskins QBs Kirk Cousins and Robert Griffin III still don't know who will start Week 1, according to a source. It was previously reported that Cousins was expected to start Week 1 over Griffin.
Fantasy Tip: Griffin's recent concussion issues have made Washington's quarterback situation a complicated one. Again, whoever starts is not worth starting as your fantasy quarterback.

Fantasy Tip: There have been rumblings that Kirk Cousins will start Week 1 of the regular season. One would think Griffin could still start if he is medically cleared to play, though. Neither Cousins nor Griffin should be drafted as a QB1.

Fantasy Tip: Cousins likely will receive the start if Robert Griffin III is not cleared to play in a few weeks. He has thrown 18 touchdowns and 19 interceptions in 14 career games and should not be a starting option in any fantasy league.

Fantasy Tip: Cousins could open the season as the starting quarterback if Griffin remains sidelined because of his concussion. Cousins has not had a lot of success over the last few seasons and should not be a fantasy option.

Fantasy Tip: Griffin will not be allowed to play until he passes all of the concussion tests, which could make his status for Week 1 uncertain. Griffin probably will not be a great starting option when he is healthy this season and should be a No. 2 quarterback in most leagues.

Washington Redskins WR Jamison Crowder (hamstring) will be a game-time decision for the third preseason game because of a hamstring injury. The team may hold him out so he can play in the final preseason game.

Fantasy Tip: How much Griffin plays remains to be seen. It would be of benefit to the Redskins to be cautious with him as he is coming off a concussion. Griffin sometimes plays with unnecessary abandon, which too frequently puts him in harm's way and makes him a risk to draft this year. Consider him a QB2.

Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (concussion) practiced fully Tuesday, Aug. 25, and didn't experience any setbacks from the concussion he's been recovering from. Head coach Jay Gruden said he hasn't thought of using backup quarterbacks. Gruden also said he hasn't considered benching Griffin because of his lack of effectiveness.
Fantasy Tip: Gruden and the Redskins seem set on Griffin as their starter, at least for now. Griffin has been battered this preseason, and throughout his short career, but he is a capable starter if he can stay healthy. He gives Washington another dimension with his running ability, but he still shouldn't be regarded as a starting fantasy quarterback.

Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson's (shoulder) chances of playing Saturday, Aug. 29, against the Baltimore Ravens are pretty slim, according to head coach Jay Gruden. Jackson has been dealing with a shoulder sprain.
Fantasy Tip: It's important for players, especially key players like Jackson, not to take any risks so close to the regular season. Washington needs Jackson at full health for Week 1. It's encouraging that he is able to at least do individual drills, however. Consider him a WR2 in standard leagues.

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (hamstring) said he's feeling 100% after returning to practice Tuesday, Aug. 25. Head coach Jay Gruden said Reed looked great and has made progress. Reed admitted he still has work to do, though. "[I want to] not have any mental errors, be real sharp with the playbook and just real crisp with my footwork and routes," Reed said. Reed said he is excited to be playing this weekend.
Fantasy Tip: The Redskins will really need Reed to stay healthy this season. They have already lost Niles Paul and Logan Paulsen for the season. If Reed can maintain his good health and produce the way he has in the past, he could be a steal at tight end in fantasy drafts.
