Fantasy Tip: Reed is still going through the concussion protocol and needs to pass all of his concussion tests before he is allowed to play. Owners can continue to monitor the situation, but it appears like Reed may miss at least one more week.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson missed his second straight practice Thursday, so his status for Week 7 is uncertain at this point. He should be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in fantasy leagues if he plays, but owners will need other options available if he does not play.

Washington Redskins WR Josh Doctson (Achilles') did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 19. DE Chris Z. Baker (knee, toe), S Su'a Cravens (concussion), C Spencer Long (knee), LB Trent Murphy (shoulder, knee) and OT Trent Williams (knee) were limited during practice. CB Josh Norman (wrist), CB Deshaun Phillips (hamstring) and LB Martrell Spaight (shoulder) fully participated in practice.

Fantasy Tip: Reed must be cleared by an independent doctor before he is cleared to play, so owners will need to follow the situation during the week. Reed is one of the better tight end in fantasy football and should be started if he plays.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson is dealing with a sore shoulder but likely will be able to play in Week 7. He has been targeted at least seven times in three of the last four games and can be a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Updating a previous report, Washington Redskins WR Josh Doctson (Achilles') is expected to remain sidelined from practice and competition for the next several weeks, head coach Jay Gruden said Monday, Oct. 17. He is not expected to return until at least Week 10 against the Minnesota Vikings Nov. 13 after the team's bye.
Fantasy Tip: Doctson has a ton of potential, but he shouldn't be on anyone's radar right now in redraft leagues. In long-term fantasy formats he has plenty of upside.

Fantasy Tip: Reed doesn't want to rush back, especially since he's dealt with so many concussions during the course of his football career. If he sits again, then Vernon David will start again. Davis scored last week, but he doesn't receive enough opportunities to be a TE1.

Fantasy Tip: The Redskins have plenty of receiving options even without Doctson, and possibly Jordan Reed again. DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon, Jamison Crowder and Vernon Davis are the main beneficiaries of those absences. Garcon, in particular, benefitted from Reed's absence. Continue to stash Doctson on the bench in traditional leagues. He shouldn't be dropped just yet.

Fantasy Tip: Garcon was targeted 11 times, which suggests he is definitely in favor with QB Kirk Cousins. He should be one of your top two receivers in a fantasy lineup.

Fantasy Tip: Jones' outburst is welcome as the Redskins have had issues finding a quality running back. This is just his second season, and Jones is looking like he'll fit in nicely. Sometimes the running game struggles, so consider Jones an RB2 or RB3 for the time being.

Fantasy Tip: Cousins didn't complete 16 of his 34 pass attempts, but he looked much better than Carson Wentz and guided the Redskins in the right direction. A couple of weeks ago some people wanted to turn on Cousins, but he has righted the ship for now. He remains a strong start.
