Fantasy Tip: Jackson will be able to play against the New York Giants, but it is not known if his injuries will affect him in any way. He will be facing an improve Giants defense but should still be considered a No. 3 receiver in most leagues.

Fantasy Tip: Jones should receive most of the work at running back again this week. He has rushed for 85 yards in the first two games and has also added two catches for 13 yards. Jones can be a flex option in some leagues but could stay on the bench if owners have better options.

Fantasy Tip: Doctson should be active for the game and probably will receive limited targets. Doctson will not be a strong fantasy option until he has a bigger role in the passing game.

Washington Redskins DE Kendall Reyes (groin) did not practice Thursday, Sept. 22. DE Chris Z. Baker (rib, elbow, toe, knee), C Kory Lichtensteiger (back), OT Ty Nsekhe (foot), LB Martrell Spaight (concussion) and OT Trent Williams (knee) were limited. S Su'a Cravens (hip), S Deshazor Everett (knee) and LB Preston Smith (ankle) participated fully.

Fantasy Tip: Jones will still split playing time with Chris Thompson at least, and the New York Giants have been stellar defensively against running backs so far in 2016. Jones is still a flex or RB2 option, but don't expect him to put up the same numbers he did last week.

Fantasy Tip: Doctson saw the most action so far this season last week, including some red-zone targets. He has yet to get going following an offseason in which he was hampered by the Achilles' injury, but the writing could be on the wall. Unfortunately, it's tough to warrant starting him until he does start producing, especially with Jordan Reed, DeSean Jackson, Pierre Garcon and Jamison Crowder all taking targets. It's best to keep Doctson on the bench again this week.

Fantasy Tip: Owners will know more about Jackson's status after practice Friday, Sept. 23, but it is a good sign that he was able to do some things at practice Thursday. Jackson is off to a solid start this season and can be in starting lineups this week if he is active.

Washington Redskins DE Kendall Reyes (groin) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 21. DE Chris Z. Baker (elbow, knee, rib, toe), LB Martrell Spaight (concussion) and OT Trent Williams (knee) were limited during practice, while S Su'a Cravens (hip), S Deshazor Everett (knee) and LB Preston Smith (ankle) fully participated in practice.
Wed, 21 Sep 2016 12:39:26 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Jones should continue to receive a majority of the carries in the running game, but he has rushed for only 85 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries in the first two games. Jones could be a flex option in some leagues, but he is not a must-start option.
Wed, 21 Sep 2016 12:32:00 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Doctson has been able to play in the first two games despite the injury and likely will be active for Week 3. He has been targeted six times in two weeks but has only two catches for 66 yards. Doctson's role in the passing game likely will grow during the season, but he is not a strong option at this point.
Wed, 21 Sep 2016 11:51:31 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Owners will need to see if Jackson will be able to practice later in the week before deciding on their lineups. He has been a solid part of the Redskins' passing game over the first two weeks and could be a No. 3 receiver for owners if he is healthy.
Tue, 20 Sep 2016 13:04:43 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Doctson caught one of his five targets against Dallas Sunday, but his sole reception went for 57 yards and could have been a touchdown score if he wasn't under thrown on the play. Big-play upside and plenty of looks around the end zone are a recipe for fantasy success, and while there could be peaks and valleys over the next few weeks, Docston could be a difference maker down the fantasy stretch drive and in the playoff weeks. He is worth owning in the majority of leagues.

Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins still has the "total faith" of head coach Jay Gruden despite a rough beginning to the season. Cousins ranks third in the league in passing yards (693), but he has only one touchdown versus three interceptions, contributing to Washington's 0-2 start.
Fantasy Tip: The Redskins' defense has coughed up 65 points as well, so the failings of the team hardly fall entirely on the shoulders of Cousins, although he has already been picked off more times this year than he was over his final nine contests combined (including playoffs) last season. He could struggle again this week against a New York Giants defense that kept Drew Brees in check in Week 2, but he has a shot to carve up the Cleveland Browns in Week 4. Cousins remains a QB2 in fantasy for now.
