Washington Redskins QB Kirk Cousins said he is comfortable with playing under the one-year franchise tag if the team wants to see him play in more games before they give him a long-term deal. Cousins also said he would be fine if the team wanted to give him a long-term deal before next season. "I think that people make great decisions when they have a lot of information at their disposal, and if the Redskins would like more information from this next season to be able to make a decision on me long-term, I totally understand that and understand where they're coming from," Cousins said. "If they feel like they have enough information and want to make that call right now, then great, too. But I think the ball's in their court and I will react accordingly to whatever decision they make. But I am totally comfortable playing more football, and frankly, if I don't play well next season, I don't deserve to be back. I don't deserve to have a long-term deal. I want to go out and earn it, and prove myself, and if I need to prove myself again, that's fine. I'll go see if I can do that."
Fantasy Tip: Cousins will be with the Redskins for at least one more season and will have plenty of weapons to work with in the passing game. He is coming off a solid 2015 season and could be a low-end No. 1 quarterback in fantasy leagues next season.

Fantasy Tip: Cousins emerged in a big way last season, but was it a fluke? That's the question most owners will have to debate when selecting him as a low-end QB1 this season.

Washington Redskins CB Kendall Fuller (knee) should be ready to participate during training camp and could receive clearance at some point during offseason workouts. He is expected to compete with CBs Will Blackmon, Quinton Dunbar and Deshazor Everett for the nickel back job.

Washington Redskins RB Keith Marshall (knee) said his right knee is fine after it cost him nearly two years in college. "Very explosive." Marshall said: "They said they're looking for a fast, explosive player and I can fit that role for them. I believe I'm an every down running back."
Fantasy Tip: Marshall will have to compete for a roster spot after being taken in the seventh round. Marshall wowed at the NFL Scouting Combine with a 4.31-second 40-yard dash time. He's someone to keep an eye on, but he probably won't be a factor outside of special teams.

Fantasy Tip: Marshall's collegiate career was derailed by a torn ACL, which didn't properly heal initially, costing him most of two seasons. Marshall opened a lot of eyes at the NFL Scouting Combine and is a name to keep in the memory bank. In dynasty leagues, he might be worth one of your final roster spots.

Fantasy Tip: The 'Skins are building around Kirk Cousins, and Doctson gives Washington some nice depth behind DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon. Doctson might be the best all-around receiver in this year's draft. He's mature with good ball skills that could contribute immediately, although he'll likely be inconsistent with plenty of other receiving weapons around him this year. He's a late-round target in fantasy drafts this fall as a WR5.
