Fantasy Tip: Garcon needs to step up his production in order to justify that monetary figure. He'll probably have more value in PPR leagues, but should only be drafted as a low-end WR3 or high-end WR4.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson managed to amass 1,169 receiving yards last year despite just 56 catches, and while his overall production warrants WR2 consideration, he can be a boom-or-bust option from one game to the next.

Washington Redskins CB DeAngelo Hall (Achilles') could be asked to restructure his current $4 million contract, according to csnwashington.com. Hall suffered an Achilles' injury last season and the Redskins may not want to spend $4 million on Hall if that injury were aggravated.

Washington Redskins TE Jordan Reed (knee) was held out of offseason activities due to knee surgery, but he is expected to participate in training camp later this month. Reed has also battled issues with his hamstring, hip, thigh, thumb and a concussion.
Fantasy Tip: Reed has proven to be one of the most skilled, yet fragile, tight ends in the NFL. When healthy, he's capable of putting up top-five numbers at the position, but good health has avoided him in recent years. He's a high-risk, high-reward pick this year. It is advisable to also take his backup, Niles Paul, if you do draft Reed.

Washington Redskins FS Dashon Goldson wants to prove that he can still play in the NFL. He also wants to have a leadership role on his new team, stating that he wants everyone around him to be good, too. Goldson is slated to be the starting free safety.

Washington Redskins TE Niles Paul is prepared to step in and start if TE Jordan Reed struggles with injuries again this season. Paul practiced some with the first team this offseason and head coach Jay Gruden praised his development. Reed will start if and when he's healthy, but Reed has missed 12 games in his first two seasons in the league.
Fantasy Tip: Paul is a capable replacement for Reed, as he proved last season, but he's not at the same skill level as Reed. When healthy, Reed can put up top-five tight end numbers. He's a high-risk, high-reward pick, and fantasy owners should consider selecting Paul later in drafts if they draft Reed.

Fantasy Tip: Reed has been plagued by injuries in his first two seasons in the NFL, but he has shown some potential when he has been on the field. Draft him as a TE2, but he could crack TE1 territory if he can play all 16 games.

Washington Redskins QB Robert Griffin III's progress this offseason has head coach Jay Gruden excited. Gruden said Griffin improved during organized team activities, adding that the more comfortable Griffin becomes with the terminology and reads, the more he'll keep improving. Gruden also said that Griffin has taken over as a leader, but that the team and coaching staff still need to be patient with him.
Fantasy Tip: Griffin did not excel in his first season in Gruden's system. That was followed by the dislocated ankle. If Griffin can combine good health with the improvements he's made on the field, he could have a nice rebound this season. One should temper expectations, however, and take Griffin as a mid-range to low-end QB2.
