Fantasy Tip: Charles should be active again in Week 8, but until he starts playing a significant role in the offense, he is too risky to trust as a fantasy starter.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson can still stretch the field, but his reliance on big plays makes him a boom-or-bust WR3.

Fantasy Tip: Reed will travel to London with the team, but his status remains unclear. If he suits up, he is a must-start TE1.

Fantasy Tip: Davis has shown he can produce if given enough snaps, but he is only worth starting in Week 8 if Jordan Reed remains sidelined.

Fantasy Tip: Crowder's involvement in the offense varies from one week to the next, but with six times on bye, he is a potential WR3 in PPR formats.

Washington Redskins CB Josh Norman (concussion, wrist) LB Terence Garvin (hip), OG Spencer Long (wrist), OG Brandon Scherff (shoulder) and OT Trent Williams (knee) were limited participants in practice Thursday, Oct. 27. LB Mason Foster (shin) and CB Will Blackmon (wrist) were full participants.

Fantasy Tip: Reed's status for the game is still uncertain, but it is a good sign that he can travel with the team. Owners will need to keep an eye on the situation over the next few days to see if he is cleared to play. Reed is a starting tight end in fantasy leagues when he is healthy, but owners will need a backup plan ready in case Reed is ruled out.

Fantasy Tip: Jones likely will need to practice Friday, Oct. 28, if he wants a chance to play in Week 8. Owners need to check on him over the next few days to have a better idea of his status. Rob Kelley would start if Jones is ruled out and can be a flex option.

Washington Redskins RB Chris Thompson is not expected to start in Week 8 game against the Cincinnati Bengals in London, even if RB Matt Jones (knee) cannot start. "Chris (Thompson) has such an important role as far as third downs and his specialty role that we need him in that role, and he's not a very big guy. We don't want to give him the ball 35 times between the tackles, you know? We'd like to have a more physical guy do it."
Fantasy Tip: If Jones is unable to go, Rob Kelley is the tailback to target for the Redskins. He might be a solid sleeper as a flex option in Week 8 against a Cincinnati Bengals rush defense allowing 118.4 yards per game, 24th in the NFL.

Washington Redskins RB Rob Kelley is in line to start the Week 8 game against the Cincinnati Bengals in London if RB Matt Jones (knee) is unable to play. "If Matt has an issue where he can't go, it would be Robert in the lead role, more likely," head coach Jay Gruden said Wednesday, Oct. 26.
Fantasy Tip: Kelley, not Chris Thompson, is the guy to pick up this week in fantasy, as apparently Gruden likes Thompson in a third down and specialty role due to his lack of size. Jump on Kelley immediately, especially if you need a bye-week replacement.

Washington Redskins LB Terence Garvin (hip) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Oct. 26. CB Bashaud Breeland (ankle), C Spencer Long (chest), CB Josh Norman (concussion, wrist), OG Brandon Scherff (shoulder) and OT Trent Williams (knee) were limited during practice. LB Mason Foster (shin) and S Will Blackmon (wrist) fully participated in practice.

Fantasy Tip: Davis has played well over the last week, but his fantasy value will be determined by Jordan Reed's availability. Davis can be a low-end No. 1 tight end if Reed is ruled out but would not have much value if Reed plays.
Wed, 26 Oct 2016 16:35:39 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Owners will know more about Reed's status Thursday, Oct. 27, since that is when the team will be traveling to London. He will be a risky option if he is cleared to play but can still be a No. 1 tight end.

Fantasy Tip: Jackson's status will be known later in the week, so owners should monitor the situation. He has posted more than 35 yards in only one of his last four games but has been targeted at least seven times in the last three games. Jackson could be a flex option in deeper leagues if he plays.
